What a great question! Yes, that glitter can be a booger to get off. I wash my molds after getting the resin out. I have had the best luck using warm water and Dawn direct foam to wash. Don't be stingy, and rub at the glitter as well.

Try putting your mold in the freezer for 2 to 3 minutes. Take the mold out and slap it against a countertop. If that doesn't work, put back in the freezer for another 2 to 3 minutes and try again.

You can get the plastic mold on our website (link above). I used mold 403. The silicone tray came from the dollar store.

Organic meaning anything carbon based. e.g. anything that can spoil.

Mold 403.....I have this same mold, I'm having issues with trying to dome the backs. Any suggestions on how to make this easy as it's proving to get the better of me. Very difficult to level out.

Do you have a video where you do a resin top coat on shapes like that? It alway comes out extremely messy and with drops hanging off. I always end up throwing those pieces away. And may I say I really dislike it when people work with that resin spray. We can't buy it or even order it in Europe. I always need supershiny molds. Nothing I have tried to glaze pieces works :(

say i wanted to make glitter necklace to sell what resin do you pour in? i'm gettin really confused as to what resin you should use. do you buy two different things and mix them or can you buy a already made bottle of resin that you just pour out? also what's the best resin if you wanted to start a business using resin ?

When you buy resin, you buy the resin and hardener together as a kit. Make sure they come together, that way you will know that they are compatible. I recommend our Resin Obsession super clear epoxy resin for projects such as this.

Do you think modge podge would be a good dupe for the resin spray?

I think the spray works better.
