460k is very steep for a polo. As good-looking and as enticing as it is, I wouldn't be comfortable with spending 10-15k per month on a polo . I'd save up and get something else or buy as used previous gen TSI
You can find a low mileage manual at 345k. The DSG price is just nuts as it comes across as intentionally inflated. Which is ridiculous because the car is made in South Africa 😢
The polo is very fuel efficient, I was once doing 90 km/h on a stretch of about 150 km or so on a freeway, I was averaging UNDER 4l/100km with one passenger and our luggage. It means if I kept going I could get well over a 1000km on one tank, but then I decided I wanna quickly get to where I'm going and it went up to 4.9l/100km which is also really good. In town it's about 5.6l/100km. But the price you pay is too much, even with paying less for fuel it's still too much. You can get a nice 3 year old 318i with about 60 000 km for that price. The polo is a small car and just not worth that high price (I bought mine 2nd hand and am happy with it)
@@EthanDavids I noticed. I suspect he left it idling for some time. That number will go up. In reality on the road you'll never get that number. You left me speechless with the last line, but I hear you wholeheartedly with how expensive this Polo is and I have to agree with you. There's so many other options one could look at.
I'd choose to spend my money on a Renault Clio intens honestly. Plus this year they are planning to release the 2024 facelifted one. Hopefully, it has an automatic/ gear 6

You can definitely get a demo with all these extras for less than R400k.. This car is really a dream to drive and is a perfect all-rounder. Maybe tell me if I'm wrong but I think the new gen Polo's are taking over the Golf segment since we only have the 8 R and 8 GTI, so it kinda makes sense why VW would price it like a Golf. I wouldnt spend that much for a polo rather get a mini suv for that price or a used golf 7.5 . Vehicle is great but is expensive they should reconsinder their prices.

A bit steep when it comes to the pricing. Personally I would consider a pre-owned Mazda 3 astina or the CX3 Individual.
Or even a demo Cx-5 carbon edition
I'm settling for kwid
