I feel this isnt a fair comparison, the auxbeam 5d or 5d pro series white led light bars would have at least given them a chance against the top lightbar brand in the country.
That's exactly what I thought. I have watched several other pod comparison videos and they used the lowest-grade Auxbeam light and/ or claimed that Auxbeam didn't have the "like" model for comparison. It really doesn't make sense, the testing will reflect real numbers and if Auxbeam doesn't hold a candle (pun intended) to the others, let it be known to potential buyers.
When we do comparison videos for performance, we pick pods that are in the same performance levels versus picking pods we know are less bright. We want to bring you guys real numbers and information!

I had 16 Auxbeam 4 inch versions in an assortment of flood and spots, oriented 360 degrees around the top of my E250 van. They put out as much light, in excellent patterns, literally as good as anyone could possibly want. When I lit up all of the lights at once, the entire neighborhood or campsite became daytime. lol.
1:18 note: For any android users, you can swipe down your quick access panel, and most andoid phones have a qr scanner that can read the code from a screenshot. Idk if this applies to any Iphones.
Rigid has told me the same thing when I get water somehow inside my Rigid Adapt light bar. I have warrantied the light bar so many times I will eventually have paid the price of a new one in just shipping.

The rgb lights aren’t even close to the same. I have rigid, vision x and auxbeam. My new auxbeams are as bright if not brighter than all of my rigids. Vision x on the other hand makes them all look dumb. The 5d pro auxbeams and 360 series are insanely bright. Take it from someone who lives in Alaska and drives an hour in the dark for a commute. My Tacoma out shines semis.
being that my vehicle doesnt have a flat wind screen, but a curved one, the light bar was quite easy to mount and looks brilliant. 4 years on, still going strong. You may have just got a dud unit.

In my extensive experience with different vendors like Rigid, (and many others) I find Heretic have the best overall quality (all lightbar housings are made in the US), their LEDs are wired isolated from one another so if one fails it doesn't impact the rest of the LEDs, they use the best Cree LED's available and interestingly their 50" lightbars require less overall height by a decent amount with the same output. ALL US MADE is important to me and I'm not sure we can find this anywhere else. On a side note, their wiring harnesses are larger gauge pure copper wiring with more length at about 1/2 the price of the Baha Designs wiring harnesses. Just my two cents worth. THis comes from the use of Baha Designs, Rigid, Heretic across multiple project trucks.
@@4WDisLife I know, it's messed up how they will talk about all the differences except the price difference. Some people don't have the money to buy a rigid lightbar. I feel like they always talk about waterproofing also. Just buy some sealant for a couple bucks and seal it up yourself. I just got once would like to see a company that actually wants to help people besides making a couple bucks.

Since the poster doesn’t want to answer your question straight up, I clicked into the link and it seems like the 50inch version is a whopping $1600. Not sure why he keeps saying starts at $290 when the light shown is clearly 5 times more.

I currently have the Auxbeam 5D pro. It has amazing light output. You definitely need to compare apples to apples.

I have a 50 inch Heretic combo (spot & flood) and its super bright and clear.
5d pro auxbeam would give rigid a sweating in 1/3 of a price lol. But you guys would probably won't do that challenge.
Rigid has more light bars we haven't tested, so we might be up for the challenge! 👌🏻

I never trust the IP ratings on any low priced made in China LED lights, save your self the trouble and get reputable brands.
