Ohne dish translates to 'without you'... apparently he wrote this song about a friend who passed. The singer Till is the one who fell in the video, the other guys are the rest of Rammstein.
Love this song by Rammstein for the beautiful poetic lyrics, well done by Till! It' s a pitty that its hard to catch this in any translaction, but the video gives a good message of this special song! A beautiful poem about love, lost, memory and friendship.

Old German folk songs have a similar wording and sound and always talk about homesick, longing, grief and transience. In this song, a man fears, his wife has killed herself. He goes into the dark forest and realizes that the birds are not rather singing (und die Vögel singen nicht mehr). He knows she died. And he resumes their ambivalent love, he could not be without her, but also he could not live with her. (Ohne Dich kann ich nicht sein,...., mit Dir kann ich auch nicht sein). A classic tragedy, surrounded by items of old German tales (like Hänsel und Gretel, with a dark forest) and thus an disturbing atmosphere.

This came the day, of my literal anniversary of my near death experience.(13th 12 2019)
when life faded, i had talked 3 hours via international phonecall, my brother in faith was there,
and when i left, i first saw the heavens, but was then taken to the dark ancient void, temples evrywehre, the ziggurats adorned with dragon statues, each of them with a different number of heads.
When i came back, i knew that i was not scared of death anymore, and was ready to die for my brother. Sadly, he betrayed me in the end of august 2020

As most of the times the lyrics are up for different interpretations... Love song, drug addiction etc. Another one is that the band almost broke up after Till shot the video to "Mutter" by himself and then wrote this lyrics as an excuse/love song to the rest of the bandmembers. When I look at the video I find the last one most credible.

Ohne Dich means Without You. I believe this song is about a man mourning his girlfriend or wife’s death.
There's also second interpretation - it's about Till himself and the band. Between "Mutter" and "Reise Reise" albums the band was about to break. It was about drug problems, not feeling it anymore. The song may reflect how Lindemann was feeling then - without Rammstein he felt like no one, with Rammstein he was still feeling lonely. Ohne Dich was created in 2001 and was planned to be on "Mutter". But they put it on "Reise Reise" 3 years later among motivating songs like Los or hits like Amerika - like a symbolic story about getting up from a fall and going forward together - the clip with the band climbing, saving Till and reaching the summit togerher is exactly about it.
The song could be a love song to someone, but I believe it is about the love-hate relationship to a drug addiction. He cannot be without you (drugs), but with (drugs) the lyrical I is also alone. At the beginning, I think that the others look at him if they are worried. Later he falls deep. In the tent, they put names on the plates, and I heard that signifies that if someone dies on a mountain, the plate is then left as a gravestone. They continue on until they reach the mountain. They stay together until the end because they left more plates (see at the end of the video). Yes, exactly this! They even do counseling sessions so they can communicate and air any grievances. This is why they've been together so long. Like many of the songs that Till (singer) writes there is often a double meaning.
Richard Kruspe did say in an interview about Rammstein being a marriage but without the sex..

I know you're trying, but you'd find Rammstein much easier if you just glance at the Wiki page for each song beforehand. You'll never understand some of them otherwise.

It is a very controversial video. What is right? As A friend do you save your friend and bring him back, save his life but let him live as an amputee or do you if your friend asks you to, help your friend accomplish the goal and climb to the top to die there? Some people just see the "helping" friends and don't see or don't want to believe he is dying although the symbolism is clear. You can say hey what great friends, they respect their buddy's wish or you can put yourself in the role of his mother who would curse an sue these "friends" who help/let him die instead of saving his life. It's really a much deeper video than just "great helping friends and accomplishing goals".
