Also, thanks for being honest about the food. It can be hard to trust some folks when everything is the best ever.

No problem at all! The dehydrated meals are by no means cheap, so I try to give folks as much info as I can to help before they buy.

Wow, you nailed the feels man! I have done this many times in washington state, so similar terrain. I'd take by awesome doggo out into the boat and explore the coastal mountains and forests, using the row boat to traverse. Being ALL ALONE, just me, a bearded bloke with a row boat, myself, my goofy silly dog, and nature. Sadly I lost the best friend I ever had. Camping isn't the same without that good ol pupper. This vid brought back good memories. I miss my dog :-(

Cheers, glad you enjoyed it. We’re so spoiled for epic terrain up here in the PNW and awesome to hear about your row boat adventures with your doggo. I’m really sorry your pups not with you anymore. I know I’ll be an absolute mess when that day comes. Very happy to hear its bringing back good memories though and great to have you onboard.

Np. Be careful when you eat them. They’re not like raspberries, the seeds are hard as stone. Can easily break a tooth!

Do you ever just feel too tired to camp? I love being outside for as long as possible. The labor involved, though, dissuades me from doing it more often.

Thanks so much for watching! I definitely get tired of doing the back to back remote camping trips. I don’t currently have anywhere to store a trailer, so I have to build and break the boat down before and after every trip, which can be very taxing. I love doing these trips though, so it always keeps me coming back for more.

Hey! I stumbled across your videos which are awesome (subbed by the way) and you have me really interested in the Paddleski. I'm also based in Vancouver and would be taking it out around Indian Arm. I noticed in recent vids you aren't taking it out as much anymore. Wondering how your experience of using it purely in paddling mode for longer distances has been or are you always using it with a motor?

Hey - thank you, I really appreciate that. Great to have you onboard. I can definitely help on the paddleski front. Let me quickly caveat things by saying that I really love my paddleski as a solo boat for calm waters/lakes, as I think this is where it performs at its best. Unfortunately, since I purchased it, my needs have changed a lot and I now need more space to bring my dog, gf and gear along on adventures. I also like to salmon fish locally using heavier down-riggers that the paddleski can’t support, so having a more stable and rugged boat that handles ocean swell better gives me more peace of mind. Regarding the paddling experience, it’s doable for short distances (
