I have to say that I'm impressed with the way you take care of your horses I've worked for people that just run their horses in the ground and then say the horse was junk and go buy another one to ruin and gave me a hard time when I wouldn't ruin my horses the same way I wasn't raised that way same thing with dogs just don't understand how people think of their animals like a 4 wheeler to just run until it won't go anymore and complain about how much it costs to fix it .
I was smoking a pork shoulder and attending guests yesterday afternoon. I'm late to the viewing, but not too late to appreciate the video. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲🇺🇲
You fellas are sure putting some good, solid H braces in place. Seems like a constant job fixing and checking fences. Here it's always trees falling down and taking the fence out. We've had a lot of rain this spring and there's lots of grass this year. Hopefully the cows all come in hog fat. Always a good show, fellas! Take care.
Made my Sunday afternoon! Gracious, you could bounce a dime off your horses coats! Beautiful scenery as always but I loved hearing the wind in the trees! So peaceful.
Hi,love my Sunday update with y’all! Those darn cows not where their spose to be:) Good luck, hope they show up! Love the scenery also. Thanks so much for sharing what you do, even fence work😊 see ya next week!

Hey Billy, great to hear from you. I tripped and fell flat on my face!!! I thought Trason was going to edit that part out, but he didn't. I am just glad no one was behind me with a camera!!!! Hope your doing well and feeling better. Take care Billy and have a good week
You have always done a fine job of explaining and filming best on the internet. Tip for gnats: fly wipe on your ears and neck and forehead. For Jayden: I was not chosen for any little league team either. You will be much happier here.
Enjoy the video very much really enjoyed the day-to-day activities years ago we had a big industrial front end loader we would push the large post in the ground with the bucket. we would sharpen the post up with a chainsaw after some moisture came in really enjoyed the scenery to thanks again we really enjoy your videos Ps where is our little buddy hyde
Hi, We need something like that to drive these posts in the ground. Hyde has been glued to the swimming pool all summer. We need to get him out riding.
I see Trason with you occasionally but haven't seen Terron in a long while. Does he not work the ranch as often as he did? When will the families with the little grandkids be out helping?
Hi Patty, Terron has helped us a fair bit. Him and Trason get here as often as they can. And yes! we need the grandkids. We have not seen much of them for the past month. I hope that is going to change. Thanks for watching.
I'm glad I found you guys on YT. What brand of Saddles do you guys ride? Happy Late Father's Day Shawn. My buddy who is your relative here in Southwestern Utah told me about you guys there in Eastern Utah. Amazing pretty country there in Colorado are you guys far from Cortez, Col? Do you guys have facilities there at the Colorado Camp? Did you guys get Mesa the Buckskin Colt at the Pitzer Ranch?
Hi Ty, good to hear from you. I actually make saddles and have made all the saddles we ride. We are 80 miles from Cortez. that is our closest Wal Mart so we go there all the time!!! Yes, Mesa is from the Pitzer and yes we have good bunk houses on the mountain.
That trail full of boulders into the deep Canyon was something else. Glad your horses are surefooted. What is the elevation of your summer camp? Just a suggestion, but if it rains again like that, maybe you could capture a little bit of it on video. Really glad for you that you got some.
Hi, the elevation of our summer camp is 8,500 feet. The highest point on the summer is 9,300 feet. I definitely should have filmed that rain storm. There is a tik tok video of a flash flood that happened on our winter range. I will put a clip of it in our video this week. It was absolutely incredible.
Looking for cattle for me is the best part. Riding and tracking is fun😍 nobody loves fencing 😂..its necessary..I bet all that rain filled up all those rock ponds for the wiley cows, so thats nice...As you were filming the next pasture for the horse's, i just was wondering the tall bunch of yellow flowers 🏵 are they arrow root? Pretty. I love using absorbing linement or Sore no more with the witchhazel base in it. Cant beat that for fixing unknowns on the legs...looking forward to next week 😊😉
I am not sure what the name of that yellow flower is, but I will find out. It is in full bloom right now and it is beautiful. I put some DSMO on him this evening. I sure hope it helps.
Most of the time the Forest Service and BLM will help us with materials but we have to provide the labor and any equipment that is needed. They usually do not help us on corals.
I presume that you are alright after that spill? I think I'm safer on the horse than on foot. Seems like there's always some branches, rocks or vines for my feet to get tangled in. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Hi guys, you should never wear new clothes to work in. Just sayin. WOW that is a really long ride or it seems like it anyway. I’m anxious to find out how you put the fences in. So, I’m guessing you are close to the home base? Or do you do your food shopping and such in town there? If you can’t tell, I have no idea about this sort of thing. I do enjoy watching you all. Maybe. When you start your video you could tell us if you are in Utah, Colorado or wherever you are? Just a thought. Good deal on the horses. Thank you for the video.
Hi Cindi, thanks for watching. That was a $30 shirt Trason ruined in the first 10 minutes of the day!!! Our summer camp is about 65 miles from our home, so we shop at our local store before we head out. It is pretty remote, no services, but we have it set up nice, so we can not complain. I will start putting more detail in the videos. Thanks again and God Bless
did you say the stiffle was not swollen? If not it might be that muscle just off the back bone in front of the hip. It happens when they are climbing over rocks. Or backing up quick.
Ha ha, That dang Trason was supposed to edit that out!!! No hole, my horses rein came off and wrapped around my feet. It caught me by complete surprise and I landed face down!!!
Great job on that one!🐕🐴

Like the Bay Roan, good looker...You all need to put Gps trackers, on your cattle...lol.
Such beautiful scenery in all your video's thanks for sharing God Bless 😊
Thanks Kathy

Mesa looks incredible. Beautiful horse.
😎✝️🇺🇸❤️🙏💪
Wonderful scenery, great video! Thanks for putting it out.
Glad you got moisture . We had 30” in 8 weeks, now tap shut off and 100 degrees. Enjoy Colorado
That is unbelievable!!! I can not imagine that much water
We lived for 20 summers near Rico CO. Is your place near there? We are not able to go anymore. Sure do miss it. Thanks for sharing your life.

Hey thanks for watching. I love building a good H brace!!!!

Thanks Pam, have a great week
That scrub oak is a heck of a good hiding place...
Good video! Good Luck with the cow hunt!

Living the life
Very nice video
Another good one guys here’s hoping you find the rest of the cows and get them where they need to be and I’m thankful you got some much needed rain
Hi Ronald, that rain was a God Send. We were really dry so that will be a huge help. Have a great week
Enjoyed
What are the mice and rats going to use for bedding without any wall insulation? 😅
Will your wife be staying in Colorado also? Beautiful scenery but kind of scary for me with the trail running along the side of the cliffs.
Yes, I sure hope so. She works Monday thru Thursday and so it has been hard for her to come out. But I hope to change that.
I see Trason with you occasionally but haven't seen Terron in a long while. Does he not work the ranch as often as he did? When will the families with the little grandkids be out helping?

@@shawnjack8092 I hope the DMSO helps to..thats some good stuff too. Thank you for looking into the flowers 🌼
When you fix and or build fence on leased ground, BLM or State, does the expense come out of your pocket?
Most of the time the Forest Service and BLM will help us with materials but we have to provide the labor and any equipment that is needed. They usually do not help us on corals.
I presume that you are alright after that spill? I think I'm safer on the horse than on foot. Seems like there's always some branches, rocks or vines for my feet to get tangled in. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Hey the only thing I hurt was my pride!!! I got the reins wrapped around my legs and down I went.
Hi guys, you should never wear new clothes to work in. Just sayin. WOW that is a really long ride or it seems like it anyway. I’m anxious to find out how you put the fences in. Do you know how many cows and calves you should have in each place?
did you say the stiffle was not swollen? If not it might be that muscle just off the back bone in front of the hip. It happens when they are climbing over rocks. Or backing up quick.
I can not see any swelling anywhere!!! So I am puzzled about what is going on with him.
Be careful ol buddy did you fall in a hole ?
Ha ha, That dang Trason was supposed to edit that out!!! No hole, my horses rein came off and wrapped around my feet. It caught me by complete surprise and I landed face down!!!
