Hi everyone
In this video, you will see how I painted Linkin Park's singer (Chester Bennington) with acrylic on canvas. Chester Charles Bennington (March 20, 1976-July 20, 2017) is an American singer, musician, composer and actor and a key member of a rock/American band. It was Linkin Park. He is also known as the lead singer of the rock band Dead by Sunrise and was a vocalist with the rock band Stone Temple Pilots from 2013 to 2015. He is known as one of the prominent and influential figures of rock in the 21st century; He was also ranked 46th on the list of the 100 greatest metal singers of all time published by the magazine Hit Reader. He is a two-time Grammy Award winner.
I started this painting on the canvas that I had already created with different texture colors. This acrylic painting is one of the works of a new collection that is going to be displayed in a gallery cafe. This collection uses famous singers with same style
For the colors I used in the clothes and face, I mostly use the background colors and in some parts I leave them as they are. In fact, I don't use the reference image much and I add colors and forms to the painting with my moods. The style of this painting is figurative/abstract and has a mixture of impressionism and expressionism.
