Well done! I appreciate the”no nonsense” approach to the rebuild. Also enjoy the fact that you don’t have background music playing when you’re talking.and explaining what and why you’re doing things.

Wearing hearing aids myself, I understand about the music. Thank you for watching!

I think I broke at least 2 lights before I made those! Thanks for watching Thomas.

Awesome job, the 855 looks great! I also put Never Seize on everything. Yes John Deere parts are expensive!

I agree with the other comments- I like your videos. Your means and methods are always the way I would like to do something...or at least the way I like to see it done. 😄 Keep the videos coming. I gotta go mow now.

Thank you, Gerrit. I'm sure I'll be needing some more parts for the loader and hoe.
      Thank you for watching!

Nicely done, sometimes it gets a little pricy to do things the correct way. Looking good.👍

Thanks, Merlin! Hopefully, I only have to do it once, though.

I do like your video's. Doing stuff the right way-Ol'School style-and taking pride in your stuff/place.
Speaking of Never Seize-my Son gave me , I think it's about 1/2 Qt. can of it when he worked at CAT. The Hi temp-copper baaqsed edition. I'll never use it all-but it rests proudly on my workbench, ready for action.
Looking forward to more of your videos!

Thanks Glenn! I used copper based a lot when I worked at the steel finishing plant.

That loader supply hose under the seat is supposed to be a line. I inherited the same flex replacement when I bought mine. I just replaced it with a new correct hard line. I think it cast $95.

Yes, you're correct about the line. I had to adjust it to keep it from binding. Many hoses, lines have been replaced. Look at all the different lines at the control valve.
      Thank you for watching!

As Tradesmen...we never consider the cost of hardware. If you need three, grab 5. In the last 10 years hardware prices have gone up probably 200%

True, on the job...when you don't pay for materials. Unfortunately, since retirement, you realize this stuff is expensive!!

Hey mate I love how it’s coming along, I have an 855 like your accept the battery and fuel tanks in a different spot. My flasher relay keeps blowing it’s a 12v system but sometimes the voltage meter reads 45volts from in do you have ideas?? Thanks

    • @cedarstoneestate
      @cedarstoneestate  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I've seen alternators go crazy if regulator malfunctions, especially if there's a bad ground. The output from it should be around 14.6 volts at most.
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

It's hard to see with those sausages you think are fingers in the way!
