- I’m back doing car videos and today I present to you 25 interesting car facts that I found integrating and personally did not know in GTAO, hopefully you enjoy today’s video and consider subscribing, I’m on the road to 100k subscribers and I’m loving the journey so far!

- Gas caps: No car has been "backported" from GTA 6. I covered this on Twitter several weeks ago and raised some pretty important points as to why this is the case. In short; the models are clearly made for GTA Online and then ported to VI (it's why we see VI cars have some additional details, like the Granger 3600LX with its rear trunk handle and plate light, in the trailer, compared to their GTAO appearance). This isn't to say that gas caps won't be featured, though, I'm fairly sure they will add those kind of details. It doesn't confirm we will or will not be able to refill cars.
- The hood transparency issue is related to material hierarchy. As the vehicle model's material hierarchy is always prioritised over the mod part's material hierarchy, the glass opacity overrides the hood opacity. To fix this, they should have embedded a small poly with the same material on the base model, but didn't. This is also the case with lots of other mod parts with transparent textures.
- The Vivanite's engine works as it should. Real world hybrid vehicles utilise their electric engine at low speeds and then the gas-powered engine kicks in at higher revs/speed/cold starts. It works the same as the Dilettante.
- The Impaler LX's roof collisions: this is actually the case with literally any mod part. Hoods, roofs, fenders, bumpers. They do not show bullet holes as the part is not directly associated to (child of) the collision model it uses.
- Asterope GZ's console: this is actually just the font used by the "Feroci" dial type (which is what displays the gfx overlays like dial needles, radio text, etc). The narrow letters are not properly padded so they just appear right next to other letters.
- FMJ's doors: this one is pretty cool. The lower part of the door's collision mesh is higher than the actual door mesh, probably to avoid it scraping the ground upon entry, since the doors meet the floor perfectly.
I wish more people would read what you say about the Backporting. It's so frustrating to see how many people think this is what's happening.
3:20 thats actually how hybrids work. They only use the gas engine on cold starts and at high load(flooring it). The diletante in game works the same.

That is how it works in real life but it doesn’t work like that with the vivanite for some reason which is why it’s in the video I assume

the GTAO cars are NOT backported, what happens is when in the modeling pipeline of making a car, a shell of the body is sent to the gtao team to finish the pipeline for the GTAV one, the gta6 one is sent thru a pipeline for it to be in gta6, this is why for example the tulip in gta6 has a thinner A pillar, a new lower bodyline, and different headlights in VI

Here's one for you: The Pegassi Zorusso and the Thrax are both mixes of the same two cars, just flipped.
The Pegassi Zorusso is an ItalDesign Zerouno (front) and Bugatti Divo (rear)
The Truffade Thrax is a Bugatti Divo (front) and ItalDesign Zerouno (rear)

I would hate to pump gas. Imagine you own 100+ cars and they’re all close to empty. That’s gotta be an hour worth of life you have to pump gas
It could work well as an optional mechanic. I.e., filling your car to turn it into an explosive to rig an ambush.

Gas caps still were a thing in the older games though. It was fun exploding cars shooting at their gas caps- wish it returns to GTA 6.
8:20 I have a variant 255 Stratum but sadly you’re unable to buy it off players but here’s how you get one.
1. Buy/steal a Stratum and put it into a 10 car garage.
2. Start an auto shop contract, go to the garage your Stratum is in and drive it out.
3. Open the interaction menu, support and choose quick fix.
4. Drive your Stratum into the blue rectangle, then get out to damage it and get back in, if the smoke appears you should have a 255 Stratum. Then just drive back into the garage to keep it and either finish or quit the mission.

Rouge, I’ve never had issues with my conversion for the Stratum. I did mine a couple years back and threw on a custom plate for it and nothing has ever changed regardless of how many people blow it up at car meets and whatnot. Unsure as to how it happens to you but just my insight.

Bro I don't know why you're bothered by the lack of detail in some places in the vehicles its not a car game bro there is other things they need to work on and and The studio that developed the game is Rockstar North not R* san Diego who developed midnight club series so Rockstar only publishes its studio's games
The Vivanite is done correctly, Toyota hybrids can drive fully electric blow 25mph can drive without the engine until about 42mph and then the engine comes on to fully assist.
I agree with that for sure but the gas engine kicking in at around 80mph is what threw me off

1:15 there are multitude of vehicles with a gas cap, for example the ocelot locus has it on the hood, Lm87 and other various race cars also have fuel doors
idk if a lot of people know this but for the next video: if you click twice and hold down the honk button on a police car while already having the siren on, the sound of the siren changes
Some cars DO have a gascap! Mostly racecars like the trophy truck or Vapid Bullet for example. Most of the bikes have a gas cap too!
Also the tuner cars when you add the fully stripped (or whatever it’s exact name is) interior, they get added to the rear quarter windows
3:01 this is caused due to the material heirarchy setup, if the transparent hood material was above the glass material it would show thru the window
You might be able to get a Stratum with all the mods still if you use it during a Robbery Contract and enter a quick fix truck.
To even get out a normal car on these missions you need to store it in an apartment garage then go to that garage and drive the car out manually, though it only work on some contracts and may or may not been patched already.
Using the same trick on some other vehicles like the Sadler or Stallion can add some weird mod on them too.

another car fact is that tire treads on most cars on the game point forwards on one side but point backwards on the other
They probably symetricly copy the wheel model on the other side.
@@yapod9061 yeah, same model but flipped 180 degrees. Pretty sure most new aftermarket wheels use different models for left and right so that the tread faces the right direction but almost all stock wheels are flipped.
8:27 the tornado is a muscle car, especially the rat rod, the bf weevil is just a classic that is incredibly modified

Imagine having a 5 or 6 star wanted level, only to run out of gas during a chase and yet you're forced to fight your way on foot onto another vehicle that has gas in the tank.
Low grip tyres are for pros, the drift tuning is for power slide bcs the car turns AWD
8:13 The Stratum with all unique mods is fairly simple to get. Start the Autoshop Contract "E.C.U. Job", head over to an apartment where you've the Startum stored. Enter the garage and drive the Stratum outside. Back on the streets request "Quick Fix" via "Contract Abilities" from the interactions menu. Now drive into the blue square, wait a second an all unique mods will be installed on the car. Store it back in your garage and quit the mission via phone. That's it!
These were pretty good. I think you may be slightly on the hopium with GTA6 tho. That games gonna look gorgeous for sure but I think it’s still gonna have lots of little misses in details like the ones you showed here. Gas caps for starters.
Well, a little fun fact for you: in the GTA 6 trailer, in the scene where Lucia is waving her hand and enjoying while sitting in a risky manner in the Zoruso, you can see a gas cap at the back of the car. A lot of people missed it but I was amazed when I saw it

The thing you said about the cavalcade can also be said about the original Granger SUV.
IMO, the original Granger was way too low to the ground, and the tires were way too wide even for an SUV.
Lastly, on the subject of ride height on the vehicles in this game... What's the point of being able to lower your car When some of the vehicles, when you max out the suspension upgrade it barely looks like the suspensions been changed.
Also why can't we raise the suspension of cars at the LS customs?
We can SERIOUSLY do without pumping gas! What a ridiculous inclusion THAT would be!

1:15 you talk about not making new models but if you compare Jasons muscle car from the GTA6 trailer to the GTA online we have right now its an entirely different model. meaning that they start from scratch of at least 10% of the GTA online car frame and work their way up

There's an easy glitch to get a stratum with everything, but the sunroof is closed
For the bounty one, you actually have to kill them, if you just hit them and knock them out with your fists, you can still get the bounty!
My biggest complaint is that the montrociti doesn’t let you change the plate
On the new fox body Dominator police car equipped with the bumper fog lights. When you activate the high beams, one of them is missing it's light scatter effects. It looks pretty odd.
They actually fixed the aleutian headlights (idk if you already reviewed it before)
I got to ask honestly who wants pump gas? It add immersion and gameplay as well as roleplay i get it but why? It just seems like a very niche system that only suits to roleplayers.
I’m talking about in terms of cometic, an actual gas system would be controversial but at least allow us to put the nozzle in the tank 🤷

GTA becoming ultra popular after V just created so many new younger fans who don’t care about detail and just wanna drive super cars out the ass now it’s really ashame.
The coquette D1 being added recently was kinda unnecessary because we already have the blackfin but my theory is that both of them are the same car except the blackfin is a custom version of the D1
Maybe, the D1 will probably be used for GTA6 and they don’t want to use the Blackfin because it’s a relatively old model
