I just got my 2nd 500 in the Lounge 1.2L in white, and I love throwing it around the streets. Well, I say "throw" when basically I mean that I drive to 30mph and it feels like I'm doing 45-50 because of how small the car is 😆 If you youtube search 'Cliff Booth Driving Home' you'll have an idea of what I feel like when I drive this thing home with my music blaring haha

Hope you’re still enjoying your car! 😊 Do you have any issues with rolling back when you have to stop on a hill? Also how do you find the start/stop engine?
Loving the car! With the hill rolling I assume this isn’t when parked? If not when parked any car will do that, with the hill start assist you have to put your foot all the way on the break and hold then it registers the hill assist and when you pull away it shouldn’t roll back. Stop start is great for eco as it saves petrol, you just have to be a bit gentle when pulling away as it sometimes takes a second to start. Apart from that no issues 👍🏼

Hope you're enjoying your car! I have a manual fiat 500 and absolutely love it but would like an automatic. How do you find changing gears and the car not rolling forward as a standard automatic. Do you ever need to drive in manual mode or the auto is what you go for? 😊
@@AndrewFaust-x1e Thank you for your advice! I haven unfortunately only heard the same from precious owners of Fiat 500 automatics so wouldn't be considering changing mine. That being said, I love my manual fiat 500, it's economical on fuel and repairs so if I consider an automatic, I will be looking at a bigger engine and hopefully a car with more positive reviews. 😊
@@gabrielastoykova1181 No problem! The manuals are definitely better than the automatics. Engines burn oil like mad, head gaskets blow, and they crawl like snails. I've heard of owners who got rear-ended because they're so slow. Just be sure to change the oil every 5,000 miles, and you might get decent longevity out of it.👍🏾
Hi sorry for the late reply! I love mine & have had no issues always passes mot no big payouts for things apart from the usual tyres etc once worn. Changes gears fine, if you speed up too fast you have to take your foot off the throttle then put it back down but all the smaller cars I had have a similar thing so I’m used to it. Mine doesn’t roll forward I don’t think, if I understand you right. Think a lot of the issues depend on year too, the older ones or standard model may have more issues but I’ve heard good things about the 500 Lounge for the price you’re paying 👍🏼
Mine was from toyota, they are very rare, most only sell manual. mine was £9000 but this was cheap considering all the extras the previous owner paid for. I would say at least £10k for this type of model with 19000 miles like mine
Hi , I’m just about to buy this car and noticed that the automatic version sometimes rolling back or forward when u in gear (1st or R). And also you will feel the gear changing heavily when u in drive motion . Is this true

I would advise you stay far away from these Fiat 500's especially the automatics. They have nothing but problems.

Ah I got a black fiat 500! Not as posh as this though 😂😂 but I love it. My kids hate it cuz they are tall and call it a “noddy car” 😂😂😂

I think its quite efficient, the gauge may be slightly quicker once it gets to quarter tank but feel like you can get far on little

Not noticed the rolling :) it is noticeable changing gears in lower gears but as long as you don't accelerate too quick its okay
