Today i sprayed it on me. So first i thought: wow it is toooo sweet. Than 2 minutes later: oh it is actually fresh. 5 minutes later like cozy powdery sweet and than later the day fresh sweety 😄 and now it is just powdery sweet vanilla. Love it!!! Never had something like that
Exactly! Smells like nothing else and oh my don't you get sharp, soapy aldehydes in the opening? ButI am on you about pleasant vanillic cozyness
Thank you for the review! I'm a man and just tried metallique, not knowing that it is meant to be more on the feminine side. And I was blown away. First and foremost it smells like a little dirty (in a good way) skinscent, which for me is adorable. And the unique character of this overall composition just transported me into some parallel reality ( probably high from aldehydes). I seriously would consider this scent, if it were not a big no-no for my girlfriend, who can't stand powdery perfumes. Still probably buy it for exceptional use :) It is one of those holy waters that are somehow existentially familiar and totally out of this world at the same time. Really enjoyied your review! I got a free sample rollerball of this scent, and at first I found it very off putting. Something kept drawing me back to trying it though, and the more I wore it, the more appealing it became. I find the opening very energizing, but as it wears it evolves and I never know what I’ll get. Sometimes it reminds me of vanilla incense, then sometimes I get a clean soap scent. It’s always enjoyable, and I’m seriously considering buying the full size and making it my daily scent.
it is definitely complex and multilayered and sometimes some ingredients are bolder than other that's for it excites me
I have had the very same experience. It was my first Scentbird subscription item. I was so disappointed at first, but after several weeks I became addicted to the sweet, warm, dreamy, but clean scent cloud that just envelopes you. I have now bought the biggest bottle I can find, because I want to live in this cloud forever! I also agree that it can smell differently on the same person from day to day. It's a 12/10 for me!
I was shopping for a gift for a friend and I smelled this and I fell in love with it. The sales rep gave me a sample to take and I used this on my and it’s incredible. It’s sweet powder super long lasting. To me this is a very sensual fragrance and would like to smell it on someone else too but I like it cuz I feel great wearing it.

Hi, Tommelise! Which do you like better for the vanilla powdery scent of it? This sounds like it would last longer and be more skin like. I however, have never smelled Mon Guerlain. I would like it to last several hours.
The opening for me was spicy pizza with jalapenos! It sweetens up and gets more floral later. Maybe I was hungry when I tested it. Ha. Very interesting indeed! Ty!

Girl!!!Only today i was caught by this enchant!What a amazing surprise,the beginning is so addicting,and it is very soapy in the middle,the only part i don't wows me is the deep drydown when it become a bit too stinky musky,but ok,i was anyway refreshed by such a stun!!!

Hi Yana, thanks for another great review. I will definitely try this perfume out. A perfume with aldehydes would be Guerlain Encens Mythique. I know Scented Moments speaks highly of it, could be worth a try

Your description of the perfume is very accurate in my opinion. "The drydown is like an award for you surviving the opening"...these are my thoughts exactly!
There is something about this perfume that makes you feel energetic and good wearing it, it is a bit drug like haha. And i find i keep sniffing myself when i wear it; Its a bit addictive in that sense, so i keep coming back to it especially when i need a pick me up.
That's true,it's addictive in a very stimulating manner,drug-scent

I just bought 30 ml bottle and will not buy again. This smell at the opening like boiled pig blood with melted caramel. How I know how pig blood smell? Hey here where Iive we eat blood sausages...so very similar smell

Not at all
"metallique" sounds very unappealing... i cant imagine a metallic smell that i like... i imagine my hand after handing a lot of change, that coppery acrid smelll... the only other obvious metallic smells that comes to mind are welding, and soldering with acid flux... its a terrible burning/painful smell/sensation in the nose that makes you run and gasp for fresh air...
the only other smell that comes to mind, that a lot of people describe as metallic is cocaine... which is also kinda acrid smelling, and not anything like id wanna smell like... it makes most people gag when they sniff it... ahaha and if i smell a female that smells of cocaine im gonna probably just keep walkiing and try to dodge that bullet... hahaha
Ok this Metallic is not like that it has more of a clean,crisp bright aldehydic note
