Why are you just skipping over ASAP and Stereotype which were very much in the "cute" category (especially ASAP), and both were excellent and two of their most popular songs? That's how they built their reputation, not as a "girl crush" group.
Yes, I still love "So Bad" so much but let them explore the cute concepts, their songs are still so good and fun and enlifting. It is their concept as 'star to a young culture'. Once they are older, I think they will naturally and slowly go for more mature but still fun concept like Twice, SNSD, etc.
