When I first heard this song I said okay it’s a bop, when I read the lyrics, I cried. The 2nd verse hit close to home. It was literally how I felt. I couldn’t even sing the lyrics out loud because I’d get choked up, that’s how I felt. I was the same way I was jokingly saying things like that but in reality it was a cry for help; the way I’d say it would always be a joking matter plus I always the “fun” guy but it’s like how they say the ones that make people laugh are the ones that are dying inside. I’m okay now I got out of a toxic relationship which caused my depression but I look back at it now and I’m glad I’ve grown and learn from the experiences and their music definitely helped me out.
