@@TheDanielShepherd I just got mine today. The app that we have to install on my phone asked to connect to my Apple Health App. So It looks like it does. I'll know more by the end of the day.
I think I've heard this blip or crack sound in your videos before ( 1:21 when you cut after "$400", right ear). Is there any way you can fix that moving forward? I find it almost ear piercing Maybe that's some artifact that happens on video export, but I'm sure it's caused by something in the soundwave during editing.. I hope. Or maybe it's just the details of the encoding selections chosen, like some video bitrate to audio bitrate mismatch or something. I don't really know, I have basically zero experience with video editing.
Thanks for flagging! I've just removed that section via TH-cam's video trimming tool :) Longer story short: historically I've used a video editing software called Filmora. To their credit, video exports have been almost perfect. However, they've been embroiled in some deep controversy recently, essentially cancelling the lifetime subscription licenses for paying customers without warning...resulting in the software no longer working at all in my case: th-cam.com/video/bm90xW40c3A/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/OMIIwQZMFLE/w-d-xo.html It's a pretty unfortunate situation (and shady business tbh)...so in the meantime I've been exploring alternative video editing tools. This one was actually made using Microsoft's Video Editor (built into the Photos app on Windows). Unfortunately though, video encoding performance is kinda buggy, despite raising several tickets and playing around with all available settings still produces the same issue from time to time (sigh...I guess it's a low priority bug for Microsoft 😅). Thanks for bearing with me in this transitionary phase as I continue to hunt for a better replacement :)
Thank you for the review -- do you have a comparsion between this one & Z1 ? Also is the calibration feature available in all models ?
Mine wont start and says e05 on the remote. I've only had it for abput a month
But is the seam area where it folds in half noticeable when walking on it? Like uneven?
not really noticeable if wearing shoes/sneakers while on the treadmill...but if walking barefoot then you can kinda feel it - still not bad though
Mine came without a remote. Do I absolutely need one for it to start it up initially? I have the app but it says to use the remote.
Yes, you are a loser without one unfortunately
Does it sync with smartphone health apps?
No one ever answers this in any review
