I was hoping for an actual fast treatment to stop the pain. I already know what causes it.

Thank you very much I've learned so much information about my teeth. Now I know what I have, tooth sensitivity has been bothering me for years now. Eating cold foods and drinks are not avoidable. I wished I had taken care of my teeth earlier 😭😭😭😭

I had sensitivity in my first premolar tooth & despite it being cracked my dentist didn't think that tooth was causing the problem.
They did an X ray on my right hand side jaw & found out that my third molar or wisdom tooth had a fair bit of decay in it,he did find a hole in it prior to doing the X ray.
It was touch & go because he asked me if I wanted my wisdom tooth removed or if I wanted a filling,I opted for a filling despite the dentist recommending that I should really have it removed because the decay was pretty close to the nerve.
It has taken a couple of weeks for the pain to subside from the minor operation & to recover from the painful jab of anaesthetic that he gave me.
My point is that it wasn't a cracked premolar tooth which was causing the pain,my previously filled Wisdom tooth was because decay had got in underneath the old amalgum filling !

But I wish you said use straw to drink sour beverage or carbonated drinks. I do the daily tonic of water with apple cider vinegar and lime squeezed juice, and I drink cold carbonated water. But I grew up with gum desease. Your information is deep .thank you.

My dentist wants to do filling for my sensitive teeth, I don't think it's needed. Besides I have dental braces. What's your opinion?
I would appreciate a reply. Thank you.

I cannot give an opinion without a proper diagnosis, but a filling in some cases can help

Why no one have this problem? I have sensitive tooth gum because of too much weight on it after i lost enamel on my other tooth so its uneven pressure.

I suddenly started having cold and heat sensitivity in one of my teeth- I can't tell if it's my wisdom tooth for the one in front of it but it acts up. I wish I knew what caused it because I know I'm headed towards the dentist. They've both had fillings. I'm expecting to hear root canal so if anybody knows of a genie, leprechaun, or generous millionaire please let me know.🧞‍♂️ 👨‍🦰🌈💰🎩🪙🪙🪙
