Awesome video and great example you set by wearing your protective gear. I'm all jacked up over here from suffering 3 falls within 3 weeks. I'm sorting out which pads and helmet I'm getting and ordering them asap!
man I skate in sunnyside all the time! Never considered a flow like this. Also kinda sad I don't see enough aggressive skaters at that park tbh... or any park really.
Another great flow vid! Ive recently started skating again after over 20 years of pretending to be an adult. I have a pair of Bauer vapor 3x hockey skates with 80/76mm labeda gripper crossover wheels. I have noticed that i get a lot of vibration through my legs which saps energy and momentum when on any surface other than smooth tarmac/concrete. Could you make a video on different wheel combos to give us noobs a guide on what to use when away from the smooth stuff. Namaste.
Hockey or slalom skates have a rocker that's just too big and uncomfortable to skate out on the street. If you want that agility that Shaun has, get yourself a natural rocker frame: instead of having a 2mm height difference on the axles you'll have a 1mm difference, which makes for a smooth ride. Shaun sometimes wears Wizard frames with 5x80 mm wheels and with that size of wheels a five wheel set-up is best for outdoor skating in various circumstances. I have Endless frames with 4x100mm wheels on a natural rocker that are great for longer distances while still giving me enough agility for fast turns and braking. I also have a similar setup with 4x90 mm for a more dynamic city flow. I use Endless frames that are cheaper than Wizard frames (about half a cheap but still great quality). Another brand with similar setups is NN. But for this kind of setup you'll need skate boots + the frames + the wheels all sold separately, so you'll end up close to 500 USD (and some 800 USD for a skates with real Wizard frames). So if you just want a better skating experience without having to rob a bank, you can simply look at a decent 3x90mm, 3x100mm or 3x110mm skate without any rocker. That'll still give you good agility and a smooth riding experience for around 300 USD.
I haven't even watched the vid yet but that title alone is probably going to net you many new viewers. To anyone who might see this, yes, you should buy blades
Side note you’re vids inspired me and sparked a new found passion for flow style wizard skating.. got back in to skating in February this year after a 20 year hiatus and your tutorial videos and flow skate clips opened my eyes to a whole new way of life.. thanks man 🙏🏼
Shaun skates the way I do in my dreams.
Good video... I love that the music isn't too "loud" and we can hear the skate's sound

Awesome, the skate pals are back!
Shaun is one of my favorite Wizard Skaters. His movement is so nimble and he has a lot of creativity when maneuvering the terrain.
