Greenbrier State Park, gateway to Maryland's Appalachians.

Greenbrier is on its own beautiful little lake and gives campers access to both the Appalachian Trail and Antietam National Battlefield.

Thanks for another informative video. I have been to Antietam Battlefield or should I say Battle of Sharpsburg! John will certainly understand that one. It almost defies reality when touring. Did you get to stand in Bloody Lane? I will have to checkout the Washington Monument someday. Never heard of it before. Again, thank you!

Yes, of course, the North generally used river names, the South used towns (probably more practical) to designate battles. Never saw Bloody Lane but I’ll look for it next time we’re there.
