Adding Honey Supers: A Little More Space

This video was created for my mother’s entertainment, but feel free to enjoy it.
In the episode, we are adding honey supers to both of the hive. We were planning on adding them a few weeks ago. But the hives seemed to have plenty of space. I’m the meantime, we have been have 90 degree days and I have noticed the bees bearding on the front of their hives. This most likely is to reduce the temperature inside the hives.
I’m hoping this extra space will give the warmer air somewhere to go, up to the top of the hive. Also, we are expecting a weeks worth of rain next week. Well that is what my phone is telling me. It’s always right, so it probably won’t rain at all….
