- The Los Angeles Chargers hired former Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh to be their next head coach. Harbaugh went on to say that his goal is to win “multiple championships”. Literally, give Justin Herbert an average defense. 16th would be the best defense he's ever had. Aside from his first year Mahomes hasn't had a defense lower than 12th. That notorious "weakness" has always hovered around a top third ranking. Herbert has never had that luxury.

Somebody should tell Nick the Chargers have been playing the Chiefs closely with Brandon Staley coaching them. If you don't think Jim Harbaugh turns some of those close losses into wins, I want some of what you're smoking. Chargers go .500 against the Chiefs next year, and better than .500 in the division.

I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but their is a world of difference between saying that your goal is to win a championship versus saying your goal is multiple championships. You have to be really feeling yourself to let that one fly.
Nick (and Wildes because he is a Patriots fan and they were the previous dynasty) want everyone to just kneel down grovel before the best team in the league. Like what do you want him to say? “Mahomes and the Chiefs are the best team ever and they will obviously destroy us. We should give them all the trophies now to save everyone’s time.”
And if anything less than 100% of people do that it's "nobody believed in us." If 95% of people did that, it would be "nobody believed us. Not one person."

Chiefs were 2-14 the year before Andy Reid arrived in 2013. The next year they went 11-5. Changing to a winning coach can make the difference in one offseason.

There's a big difference from other coaches have said in the past about how they WILL have success. Versus Harbaugh saying the GOAL is significant success. Those are two drastically different statements.
