Everyone is complaining about these "bathrobe" costumes, but I assumed the costumes were supposed to be a stylized version of the hanboks that Gwisin (ghosts) typically wear in Korean folklore. It's a really nice attention to detail considering the concept and makes me like everything more, tbh! Stage/MV costumes don't always have to look amazing. Sometimes perfecting the concept is more important than looking pretty.
(Sidenote: can anyone tell me if Dreamcatcher has a fandom name yet? I might need to know what to call myself if they keep this up any longer!)

Bathrobes DO NOT have flared sleeves Yukata/Kimonos do! It's a short Yukata. There's a difference people! Just because they danced in a hotel don't mean they danced in a bathrobe. Sorry I do like this group but I just had to get this whole bathrobe thing off my chest, I dunno somehow people calling their clothes bathrobes makes me feel very defensive, maybe cause I'm Asian I duno. Not trying to offend anyone but it's definitely a short Yukata.

I like how their outfits are in reference to Japanese culture. The way they dressed the kimonos which is in reversed has a meaning to that. In Japanese culture, the dead and spirits wear it in reverse like that as if you’re looking to a mirror because the spirit world is the mirror of the living world. And in the MV they were portrayed as malevolent apparitions

man, i remember myself 7 months ago watching this video continuously cause i was so amazed by the dance and the song. and when i tried learning the dance i couldn't stop smiling and getting excited at every move i learnt !! 7 months later, i'm still supporting them today.

can people stop calling them bathrobes?? it's disrespectful, honestly. they're based off of a kimono, a traditional Japanese piece, which was used to suit and match not only the concept but the obvious J-Rock feel to the song. not only that, but they do look nice, and the girls pull them off amazingly. stop being pricks about it.
that aside, the choreo is honestly breathtaking. it's so strong and it has a presence that I can put my finger on. it's so strong and honestly it's perfect for the girls.

Asian culture doesn't really get recognized very much in western areas, at least until recently, and taking something that others might see as a representation of culture and devaluing it by saying it's just a bathrobe, can be seen as disrespectful. I don't know if this is accurate, as I am not Asian, but I think a basic rule of thumb is, if you think it could hurt someone, don't say it, and I'm pretty sure that this is definitely something that hurt some people.
Even if you think it doesn't matter, let me ask you this. Would the girls be happy if they looked at the comments of a video that they worked hard to make, and all they could find would be people saying they're outfits just looked like bathrobes? I know I certainly wouldn't be happy with it.

I've recently started watching Dreamcatcher's dance practices and I obviously knew they were good but wow. This is definitely my favorite dance I've seen from them so far. It really shows how good they are
