As a Chanel lover , I feel pain when I see all the beautiful colorful bags u sold but you are happier with your collection now and that is what matters .
I’m lifelong LV. I’ve tried other brands, but I always stay put 😂 For me it’s a combination of years of love, appreciation and knowledge of the brand. I still feel the same love I felt when I started the journey 20 years ago 🥰 Now I have become much more discerning though!! I’ve seen every collection for two decades, I know what I like and if something is particularly special or unusual. It also alleviates the fomo, because I have a sense of what is going to be popular or unpopular. And at the end of the day nothing else has tempted me away……
I clicked your username to see if you had a channel because i’d love to hear your take on LV! i’m sort of on the same trajectory with LV (but i haven’t been following them closely for quite as long and admit I am not very discerning with my purchases… yet 😂). lv was also the first luxury bag I bought for myself. I’ve dabbled in the other fashion houses and I do enjoy them, but LV, for bags at least, gets me every time.
I follow another youtuber who used to be a luxury influencer and is over it and she made a comment about how she was buying bags for a fantasy life she didn’t have and recently i’ve been feeling like that. and I was reminded of it when you mentioned chanel bags are dressier than your current personal style. that happens to me all the time. I have a classic flap and I love it but i’ve worn it once. 🤔 and it’s not that I am afraid to wear my bags, but more that I don’t have many chances to wear my dressier bags at all. and that’s just my real life reality right now. so do I sell the fancy bags? i’d love to be that person who has 1-2 beautiful, hard wearing bags (like jane birkin) that work for a multitude of occasions, but I also have to admit I love collecting bags, I love tiny bags and bags that glitter. I love charms. I love vintage & new releases. sigh. I guess i’m still figuring it out!
A couple of years ago i became obsessed with the idea of buying a vintage Chanel jumbo (influenced by Claire Chanelle)...my husband said "i think this is a brief obsession for you and you will get over it". He was right...only a few months later, I couldnt care less about them haha. So now when i get an idea in my head that i need something, i wait and it usually passes and i saved my money!!
My compromise to purchasing a Loewe animal bag was to buy a small elephant coin purse in the red colorway. I can easily tuck it inside any handbag and enjoy the cuteness of it without committing to the actual bag itself, knowing full well that it would have ended up sitting in my closet once the novelty wore off. Bravo for selling off the collections that weren’t bringing you joy anymore so that you can focus your attention on the one brand that does bring you joy. Hermes is timeless and classic and intended to last a lifetime so you are ahead of the curve in your decision making process Jess! 👏🏼👏🏼
Oh that elephant is a winner for a cocktail event or a wedding. Also that color is surprisingly easy to style with shades of cream/brown, it also pairs well with royal blue.
I'm always wanting something from Dior. But apart from that, I am choosing things right now based on my needs. I like to be hands free sometimes. So my last purchase was something that can go crossbody, or across the chest. I think a camera style bag next. And 3 in our family are all looking CC tweeds.
You're totally right about Chanel's prices being insane. That being said I adore the few Chanel pieces that I got many moons ago. I simply can't justify the prices today. Btw, love the blue sweatshirt at 3:14. 💕
I regret my Chanel gabrielle bags. I bought 2 during the pandemic and 1 in 2021, and I used 1 bag once. The chain cut into my shoulder and twists around making it difficult to carry, you can't fit many things even if you buy the medium size, it also weighs a ton...urgh now they all sit in a cupboard and I avoid them.
I love all the Jesse flashbacks, I don’t think I ever saw your hair like that. Currently you remind me so much of Audrey Hepburn in appearance so the Hermes fits very well. I disagree with the other commenters, I think having simplistic bags lets you experiment more with outfits. If you had too many jazzy bags then the outfits would probably have to be toned down to work well
Don’t feel bad, your collection is evolving just like you are! This is my mantra on my channel: making smart, fun and functional luxury purchases for our real selves, not our fantasy selves. 😊🧡
I had a bunny obsession and wanted the same loewe ones you showed in your channel and i think when winter came around and i realized i needed big bags for my scarf gloves etc i got over it. I still love my telfar but i don't have the energy to chase the colors. Maybe ill get another set in the bag security program. But same thing in fall and winter if it rains or snows theyre not perfect... So i don't know how many more I'll get
I was looking into the telfar bags just now for the small size. But I caved in with Marc jacobs 😂 I feel like it’s based on your lifestyle and personality what u like to wear. I was obsessed with LV but that didn’t last. Happily it was just a phase. I really don’t find it appealing anymore. I love quiet luxury so it seems. Interestingly enough I actually like my “Victoria’s secret tote bags” of all brands! It’s so “me.”
The LV Cherry Blossoms and Murakami line are amongst my favorites❤ It’s a shame they didn’t wear well! Yes! The Bottega Arco is lovely! I love the medium black🖤 I love your yellow Elephant Loewe!!💛 You looked so pretty💕
@@JP-kl1mjI think she got a good deal for them and used it to start her Hermes collection. I think she dresses with fun colors so the handbags she prefers to be sleek design like Hermes. At least for now... Maybe I'm just projecting because im the opposite I dress in a lot of simple clothing and let my handbags stand out and I love me an lv, logos and monogram
I like to look at at all those crazy LV special editions and find them cute and all, but I couldn't imagine myself styling them with my wardrobe. They stand out too much and I prefer my bag to be an add on, not the center piece. I still have a couple of LV Monogram bags for sentimental reasons, but they hardly ever come out to play. I don't like the Balenciaga aesthetic at all, it's way too much "influencer" for me. I don't pay much attention to scandals and whatnot. Shit is always happening somewhere so that is low on my radar. I would love to expand my collection with more Loewe and Celine.
Why regret? you sold all your Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbag because you are no longer like these brand and you want to use that money to buy preloved Hermes. I don't like people making video bad mouth about Chanel or Louis Vuitton. I understand these brand getting expensive nowadays, Hermes, the same. Don't buy it, stop complain please. You are so annoying sometimes!.
Not at all. I'm a physician and it is neither low nor weird. Perfect anatomy. Now I'm wondering maybe yours is extremely high and that's why in your eyes hers is low? Maybe you're the weird one? Maybe get a doctor to check it out you never know!
Naaaahhh LOL i did my reaserche !!! HERS ARE VERY LOW like she hunched forward or something.. mine are perfect like they should be :-)) @@dragamboazulinqiacupuntura122
Your Collection You Have Now Is Beautiful 🤩 You Have The Best Color Selection ❤ I Have The City Bag But I Don't Wear it Anymore but it's a Beautiful Pink Rose Color.🩷

Don’t have enough funds to buy ALL the bags I want and notice I lose interest in them if I give it enough time.
I'm loving all the beautiful rich colours behind you Jess! 🌈
Yay, thank you Jane 💕💕💕💕

Maybe LV leather pieces are for you rather than canvas? I think your collection now is fun and translates better between outfits and seasons.
You can love things, appreciate their beauty, but not need to own them. Sometime a photo satisfies your interest.

Your Loewe elephant bag is one of my faves from your collection. I think it would be cute on your shelf next to the lime green bags.
I was also into LV but sold everything except my neverfull as my workhorse. I am in
Love with Hermès but not sure if I start this journey or not 😂

I absolutely adored the Demim LV bags you had!!!! I was sad when I couldn’t see them anymore on your shelf 😅
Maybe the elephant is just a really nice art piece to enjoy. It makes me happy to simply look at it but I’m also not sure if I would wear it.
Your Chanel collection was very nice but your Hermes collection is amazing. I can’t see it needs anything else. It’s perfect.
You should do a designer sneaker collection
We like what we like that fashion you are always beauiful Jessie
I love your handbags collection ❤😊
The cherry speedy is my dream bag 🍒
I reget one bag, but thats just because i love it not that i would continue to carry it
What is that gorgeous mint green shoulder bag that's on the left side of the screen? Obsessed with it!
