I have to admit, this isn't too bad. Ch'rell should've still been given the high-pitched voice of the Season 3 episodes "Same As It Never Was" and "Exodus Parts 1 & 2" and the animated television film "Turtles Forever". It just suits him better.
No, it's not, it ruins the epicness of these scenes. High-pitched voice was made only not to spoil the plot twist. Other utroms don't have high-pitched voice and speak normally as well. With his regular voice he remains a threatening villain even in his utrom form.
@@magicmirror8627 Of Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Secret Origins, Mortu sort of had a high-pitched voiced after he revealed to the Turtles that he is an utrom. It was just a little bit higher some than his normal voice.
I feel like they only removed the voice filters because they knew that his “Super Shredder” body would have him exposed so they did it to keep his regular intimidating voice. And it wasn’t just him in that episode cause I’m pretty sure they also removed Mortu’s vocal effects in that episode too for some reason. And from that point onwards all Utroms lost their voice effects. I guess just to make Ch’rell’s lack of vocal effects not stand out.
Actually scottie ray's shredder voice changed throughout the series as well. If you listen closely, his Shredder sounds different in S1-S2 from S5 - onwards. Compare his line delivery in Secret Origins Pt. 3 and Enter the Dragons Pt. 1. In the beginning of the show, his voice has very strong reverb and he is much more emotionless than in later seasons, speaking almost in a loud whisper and coming off really 'robot-like' (quite fittingly). But in later seasons his voice is slightly deeper and his cadence is much more grandiose and villain-y, with the reverb toned down a lot.
I think that's when in Season 3, Oroku Saki has a more "businessman" storyline and he speaks in a way that relates to S5 whereby Demon Shredder is somewhat of a same character style aka knowing he is in control.
@@TheEliteClown_ Well, Tengu Shredder from the 5th season is literally a different character. But yeah, the writing in the season 5 is not the best, and seasons 6-7 writing is just awful. So many of Cyber Shredder's lines are just so forced and silly, that even the great delivery of Scottie Ray doesn't completely save it. And the laugh instead of being a sinister and menacing thing for epic moments became a pointless necessity he does in almost every of his scenes without a reason.
Tengu Shredder has a sadistic sense of humor, saw everything as a game, and toyed with his enemies. Yeah so definitely his personality would be grandiose, maniac laugh, everything is fun for me as we welcomed challenged. He has no reservation and hence in Season 5, Scottie Ray delivery is much raw and unfiltered. Compared to Season 1 to 3, Utrom Shredder is in between hatred and sophistication .
@@samdickenson5852 ok, first of all, that was overly dramatic. Second, why would they want to go for his actual body when he’s obviously going to keep his guard up the whole time? They should instead focus on taking his armor apart piece by piece so he doesn’t have any means of defense left

@@Jackattack359 I never said he was. I'm just saying they should go for his actual body not waste time taking apart his armor, especially when he wasn't wearing it in Exodus or his physical body was exposed in the big suit. They didn't even seem to try in the latter.
@@samdickenson5852 and I’m saying that he is just as skilled as they are, possibly even more. So there’s no point in trying to attack his main body before dismantling his armor. Wow Scottie ray should knows how to make the Shredder a dangerous villain in the 2003
😆
That was an oddly repetitive comment

@Je-S1001 I see. To me, it just makes sense for an alien species such as the Utroms to have high-pitched voices, including Mortu and Ch'rell.
0:48 Terminator reference!
This was the best shredder!

And all that stupid laughing and yelling in every sentence in Seasons 5-7 was annoying. Completely switched the shredders personality.
