Volcano Bay uses the same parking building as the other parks, they use the first floor for volcano bay and guests take a bus to the "island". After leaving the bus they get through security and walk through a tunnel (thats actually under the road instead of a bridge on top like the other parks) that takes you to the turn tiles after a really amazingly themed entrance. Love the fact that you're doing this style of park. -Your friendly Universal Orlando team member
Excited for the new series! Maybe an idea for a weenie for the park would be an amphitheater. Hollywood Studios and Universal use the out door theaters for Stunt shows and would be an excuse to make a large, grandiose theater but also sticking with the park theme.
This park is going to be tops, I can't wait to see where it goes! And I can't wait until my kiddo is finished playing Sims so I can dive into this new pack.
The fact that you have to place rooms is actually more than I expected. I thought it would just work like the toilets. Overall the extra features like restaurants and room service 'bother' me more since they are just a list you click on. I love the fountain with the globe. Great start to a new series! Maybe add some benches to the main street? Evil Genius would make a good ride.
So much self promotion, I love it. also at 7:38 you use the terrain paint for the first time and you flip your screen around it almost looked like you were shaking you were so happy you had it
Hey Geekism. Universal kind of has a weenie for each land now. Especially after the introduction of Harry Potter. Diagon Alley has the dragon. Hogsmeade has the castle. All of the new stuff at their parks have a distinct focal point. Take the new kong attraction. It has excellent sight lines and draws you in. I recommend following this pattern in your studios park. Even Disney is doing this now. Take avatar, toy story land, Star Wars, etc as an example.
Great video, keep up the excellent work. I really like your idea of incorporating different games in the form of rides and themes. One quick suggestion I have is to make misters as you enter and leave the park. Most of the parks here in America (especially in the south) use misters to help keep guests cool. I was thinking you could use some of those water effects along with some of the new lamp posts to come up with something clever. Anyway great work once again and cant wait for the next video.
I’ve been burnt out on Pinewood Hills for a long time so I’m very excited to see this. Maybe it’ll even get me back into Pinewood Hills, too. I’m so behind!
Great start! It’s going to be another fun one. There was, at least at first, a difference in motivation between the east and west coast Universal parks. Because the Hollywood park started out as a functioning film studio, the rides were sort of plunked down between the working sections, and backlots, more or less as an extra draw for guests. The Florida park seemed more of an amusement park first, studio space second. So, you get sound-stages tucked between the ride areas. Maybe Geekism Studios might be something in between. And why didn’t you go with “20th Century Sparrow”? Heh
The Disney Sorcerer Hat in Hollywood Studios is actually pretty small, especially compared to Cinderella's Castle and the World Tree. And it's not anything fancy. Last I saw, it just housed a pretty basic gift shop. I would say you're right that this style of park doesn't require a weenie.
Looking forward to something a little different than the pinewood! Can't wait to see how it develops! I'd love to see an evil genius, ride or section to the part. I'm sure the theme would work for something a little whacky! Also could be fun to use some of the adventure pack traps, for a break into the genius lair or something similar as a junior coaster.
Nice to see a new park, makes a nice change, looking forward to seeing where this one goes. For the adventure pack - maybe some sort of Indy Jones / Lara Croft type ride, though I guess everyone else does that too... but think it would be good for a studio theme.
8:30 I notice you do rocks the same way I used to. Spread them out as much a possible to get a nice mix. However, I've come to realize that in nature rocks are formed in layers. And when I applied that to planet coaster the results were actually much better than the 'salt and pepper' technique that most people seem to employ. So there's a quick tip for improving your rock work. Also, idea for backstage (maybe) is to have one of the great indoor hanger sets closed off and in the process of being refitted. So you can see in from backstage and it's all scaffolding, curtains and building materials.
Hi Jonti I just wanted to say I’m really impressed and really proud of how much progress you’ve made and are making with this channel. I’ve been subscribed since around 700/800 and it’s just been great watching your video quality slowly improve, and it’s been great getting to know you as a person; also when you hit 100k I can come back to this comment and prove I’ve been here since before 1000😂
Great Stuff. Really looking forward to see the new Geekism attractions. Can you use the new "Half globe screen"-things to show recorded game footage from the respective games? Could be cool!
For the subnautica ride in the queue can you have something like Armageddon with special effects to make it like your falling out of the Aurora in the life pod.
If it's an American park... c'mon, it's got to have a weenie! Something really large and over-the-top, because we Americans are attracted to large, loud, gauche things ;P Maybe the weenie would be part of a coaster? If you're doing a Surviving Mars ride, maybe an oversized shuttle or a spire?
Yeah I am on board with the Geekism hills sign, though I really hope you would take your own spin much further than the Hollywood sign. Maybe make it vertical or diagonal instead of horizontal. Or you could use the new tour piece to travel behind the sign and the spotlights to highlight it at night in a thematic way (cough cough, color. cough cough, Union Jack & tea). I'm curious to see where this park goes, especially with your concepts for rides. I hope you use the new ToT type flat ride and venture out into a storyboard for the ride instead of the preset one. It would be a great way to highlight another game or even Geekism as a brand (and like other commenters, could make it a weenie if you prefer). I'll stop rambling now with ideas....
Hey Jonti, I recently found your channel and I really love your Planet coaster content! I get tons of great building ideas and techniques from watching! By the way Disney Hollywood Studios no longer has Mickey's Sorcerer hat as there weenie. It's weird because the focal point when you walk in is there Chinese Theather (used to be home of Great Movie ride but soon will be home to a Mickey ride) but on weenie merchandise they use Tower of Terror.
Great building work. I really want to build a proper park but find it so hard from a blank park. I spend hours making a great entrance and then struggle with the park layout.
Can u do a overwatch game plz that would be awesome because u are amazing at building and at rides that would also make me so happy and make my day thx
The studios in orlando has the Chinese Theater (the Mickey hat has thankfully dissapeared a long time ago), DCA (that for all intent and purposes is a studio park) has and had The Grizzly River Run Bear Mountain, Mickey's Fun Wheel and the old tower of terror and Paris has Tower of Terror and before that, even if it was shitty and only at a side in the entrance The Earful Tower (that was a typical movie water tower). Universal Studios uses its giant gate (the one you did) as a weenie. Parque Warner Madrid has the S&S multi drop tower "themed" as Batman's enemy, The Riddler (the position of it in in the DC area), but from all points of the park is only a 100m tower with the park logo on every side at the top of it. I really like the idea of a mountain in the background with Geekism as the hollywood sign (I did that with silver lake park, so if you need Hollywood font to see a good scale for it just ask me for it)
The fence in between the alley way and the store selling oversized lollipop doesn’t look like it fits. You should put a building in its place or something but still for staff only
I know this is an older video, but if you see this, can you please show how to connect the wheels to the cars without them looking like the car is sinking into the ground?
Great start of your studios park Jonti! Really nice ideas with that globe and flower bed 😀 great use of some new stuff already!
DeLadysigner 🤩
DeLadysigner hello
That was a good choice to start a whole new series, I was missing the excitement of a new park.
YES GEEKISM THIS IS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE!
Volcano Bay uses the same parking building as the other parks, they use the first floor for volcano bay and guests take a bus to the "island". Thanks for this! Nice info :)
Excited for the new series! Maybe an idea for a weenie for the park would be an amphitheater. Hollywood Studios and Universal use the out door theaters for Stunt shows and would be an excuse to make a large, grandiose theater but also sticking with the park theme.
I'm loving this series already.
I love the flower "G"!
Yes, okay. I am so here for two PlanCo series. Looks great!
Love the new park!
Very excited for this series. Looking like it’ll be a great watch.
Looking forward to future episodes of this series!
I'm going to love the subnatica ride I can allredy tell this series is going to be awesome
really happy to hear the channel is growing! 500 viewers is no mean feat my friend!
It was pretty crazy!
This park is going to be tops, I can't wait to see where it goes! And I can't wait until my kiddo is finished playing Sims so I can dive into this new pack.
This was really neat to watch! 🙂
So cool! Great Video Jonti!
Brilliant..... Looking forward to watching this develop.... Enjoying pinewood so this will be great to watch as well. X
Film more !!! I need more !!! I’m already addicted
WOW!...don't forget to put in a deli. Also metal grates on the sidewalk (subway ventilation). :-D
Great start! Can't wait to see what you do with the new stuff.
I think these are two excellent park types to have going as separate series. I'm excited to follow along with both :)
I've got a great idea for an Evil Genius ride!
So much self promotion, I love it. also at 7:38 you use the terrain paint for the first time and you flip your screen around it almost looked like you were shaking you were so happy you had it

I reckon this'll become my new favourite series of yours!! Love it! :D

Also: Super Hyped for Subnautica ride with the new rounded screens. Can’t wait to see what you can do with that.
Plancoa is killing it with the dlc and updates.
Yeah! I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Great start! It’s going to be another fun one.

Dude, that's looks great! Nice job Jonti!
You definitely have to do a city walk area with a bunch of shops & restaurants! That would look nice

This dlc is perfect for my movie park and can’t wait to see yours jonti
I have never clicked on a video faster, I am so excited for this!!
This is amazing, loads of inspiration. Subbed!
Welcome!

Great video!
Your so good at this geekism your my favourite could u play more of planet coaster
YES JONTI I LOVE THIS
As I’ve been to universal studios many times if you can master the dark rides they will be brilliant!!!
I'll try!
Jonti can you incorporate some hotels? Also geekism Hollywood sign as the weenie would be a great idea 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Jonti I just wanted to say I’m really impressed and really proud of how much progress you’ve made and are making with this channel. Also what the fuck is a weenie
this is so nice. it is perfect :) keep going
I AM LIVING
I LOVE IT
I love the new pack! but I think the horror heights ride should be a track ride (customization)
Amazing work! You earned yourself a subscriber. I guess I’ve found another thing to binge.
Enjoy!
Great Stuff. Really looking forward to see the new Geekism attractions.
Can you use the new "Half globe screen"-things to show recorded game footage from the respective games? Could be cool!
Happy Easter!!!
Been looking forward to this since the stream last night! Its gonna be awesome!
For the subnautica ride in the queue can you have something like Armageddon with special effects to make it like your falling out of the Aurora in the life pod.

This is the first time ever i watched a video of you and i really like your videos. The gameplay and commentary is amazing.
I subscribed and liked :)
Oh, nice new series!
Lol you should add a Pinewood Hills advertisement somewhere in the park!
Oh m gawd, this is perfect!

Looks Great! Do you think we could have a Tropico restaurant?
This is good stuff
This is a great series and it is funny that you have been making a request for a chain link fence then you use it for a roof! Lol
Hey Jonti, I recently found your channel and I really love your Planet coaster content! I get tons of great building ideas and techniques from watching! It's weird because the focal point when you walk in is there Chinese Theather (used to be home of Great Movie ride but soon will be home to a Mickey ride) but on weenie merchandise they use Tower of Terror.
Use the Horror heights ride in it. No studio park is complete without it.
Great building work. I really want to build a proper park but find it so hard from a blank park. I spend hours making a great entrance and then struggle with the park layout.
You should do it more often.
You could give it more of an Epcot vibe with the centre sign/lake being the 'weenie' and then each ride/section going off from there?
This is going to be a great series!! - serena
You should just do video games, maybe a mine craft ride and a Mario one
You should add mermaids around the globe or some statue
I think Evil Genius would work great for a attraction! (Even though the series ended a while back...)
Yeah! Great shout!
Please make your own version of either the Hulk, Dragon Challenge, or Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios resort.
For the weenie do a giant geeking logo like the flowerbeds but a statue so people could take pictures in front of it
awesome vid . who's watching 2018.
maybe a police station themed main street building?
I'd like to see water physics in the next update, so we can make natural waterfalls without jets
you have to make a Evil Genius ride :)
Are you going to make your own version of the horror heights ride?
Good idea
JONTI,YOU KNOW THE DAWM CRYSTAL BAAAALLLL
Can u do a overwatch game plz that would be awesome because u are amazing at building and at rides that would also make me so happy and make my day thx
Do an ‘another brick in the mall’ or city skylines ride
The entrance to Volcano Bay is in the Cabana Bay resort
You should also make a hotel with the 1.6 update
either universal studios or islands of adventure at that big tower
stunt shows?
Headphone user/ billboardboy I`m taliking about a stunt show themed to a game
You could probably do a GTA V Vice City stunt show.
gupsnot amazing Idea great thinking
why, thank you!

how did you make the "studios" part on the main enterance ???
You can also make a cinema using the robotic arm
I was thinking of making Planco videos based on my channel: I might borrow/steal ideas off this series. :)
LETS GOOOOOOO
Have you ever been to the efteling in the netherlands. If not you should realy go there. The senery is amazing
I’m going for the first time in September for Parkgasm! Can’t wait!
Yay
Is this park also coming in stages on the steam workshop?
If you ever play Jurassic World Evolution will you make ride about that
Are you going to turn the pinewood castle into a hotel?
theres actually a much better white you could use for bushes, FFFFFF, it works very well
How did you make that universal studios big archway? I want to make that!
How did you do the custom geekism lettering?
This DLC is probably not for me but I bought it anyway. lol :D
I know this is an older video, but if you see this, can you please show how to connect the wheels to the cars without them looking like the car is sinking into the ground?
