Nice video series, my only disappointment is that you didn't need to replace the bellows, because I have to replace the bellows on my bessa 1 and have no idea how to tackle that yet
Hi Chris, would you like to take on a serious challenge with a very poorly maintained Bessa II with gorgeous Colour Heliar that is in surprisingly good shape?
A great series; much appreciated!! I've recently acquired a Bessa II and have one question that's puzzled me: how do I remove the pressure plate in order to service the simple mechanism which blocks the red window when not winding on?
Thanks to you I was able to do my own service on my Bessa I. Very informative and detailed. Greatly appreciated!
Very very good video Compliments

Thoroughly enjoyable and very informative. Thanks!
Great series Chris, thanks for sharing.
Superb! What skill!

Unfortunately, no. I made the decision some time back to limit my work to Retina and Retinette cameras.
hello, I have a bessa 1 and I noticed that the lens is not parallel with the plane, do you know how to adjust it?
As far as I know, there is no adjustment. The camera has probably been dropped, and something has bent as a result.
A great series; much appreciated!!

I don't know the answer to that, sorry. The springs supporting the pressure plate may be fixed to the back with rivets.
how did you check focus accuracy before installing and setting the focus ring back onto lens?
Ground-glass screen at the film plane works well enough. Practice makes perfect.
