Swat Motorway Road Trip

Swat Motorway Road Trip M 16 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.Welcome to Tarar Support. I am traveling in Pakistan by road. In this video. Road Trip on Swat Motorway M16. Now I am on M1 Peshawar Islamabad Motorway. I will exit from Kernal Sher Khan Toll Plaza. This Toll Plaza connects M1 To M16. My Road Trip is 83 Km. It takes 1 hour because My jeep is old. The Swat motorway phase-1 was constructed by the Frontier Works Organization at a cost of US$220 million. The Asian Development Bank and China provided the principal technical and financial assistance for the project, while Saudi Arabia pledged US$21 million. The Swat Motorway was completed in June 2019. It reduced the travel time from 3 hours to 1 hour from Noshehra to Chakdara. It is a provincial controlled-access highway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Service area is under construction.

These are loans and will be repaid by the toll tax over 25 years. All motorways in Pakistan are toll which pays for the infrastructure developent. This began back in 1992 and now we have motorways from M1 to M16 and new ones are entering service every year. As of now the network is about 3,000 Kms.

FACT: At 6:30 you pass the sign for *BAKSHALI* which is the home of the mathematical zero. Over 2,000 years ago our ancestors invented the zero here and wrote mathematical works some which are still held in UK and known as 'BAKSHALI MANUSCRIPTS'. So this place is important to human civilization. Next time you use the zero think of Bakshali!

It is a toll road and hot weather but it is almost usual less traffic than other highway, It is motorway 🛣 due to fence, it is clean
