    This seems like probably one of the more difficult parts of the swap. Not looking forward to the pedal set haha

    so for the clutch line to the master to the reservoir, that's separate from your steel aftermarket cable, right? I'm almost sure that it is because it would be dumb not to, so what part number is that? or where could I find one?

    • @M3NACE
      @M3NACE  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      from the master to the brake res. is a different line, its just clutch hose. part number 21521163714 it usually comes in rolls, I measured and cut mine first thing in this video. I would reccomend watching the manual swap prep series, It might answer and clarify a few questions for the swap. here is the link: th-cam.com/play/PLVaxrCrxn-sEBv9t2Tu501WfAkTF7AISC.html

    Thanks to your awesome videos I have completed my manual swap and everything works.
    One question. The automatic gas pedal has a kick down switch behind it. Should the kickdown switch be removed? If yes, any tips instructions on how to remove it?

    • @M3NACE
      @M3NACE  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just leave them in there, they dont hurt anything

    so you dont need any clutch master cylinder or anything you can just use the brake fluid bottle as a clutch line

  • @eateam28
    @eateam28 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    what about clutch sensor? did you make something with it?

    quick question again sorry if i bug sir can u use the stock auto ecu for the manual swap cuz the ecu i got with the swap is dinan chipped i guess and on fifth gear i’ll be at 70mph and the car is at 4.800rpms is that normal while cruising ?

    • @M3NACE
      @M3NACE  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the stock ecu will work. What diff does your car have?

    • @mromagachi5194
      @mromagachi5194 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      the stock 325is one of the auto car and also i’ve notice it has problems starting like its sputters to start and then after couple of try’s it turns on well and no check engine light it’s odd cuz it always does it and it never had a problem when it was auto

    • @mromagachi5194
      @mromagachi5194 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it would turn on with one key start

    • @M3NACE
      @M3NACE  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mromagachi5194 find out what ratio your rear diff is. also, if you pulled the intake manifold off i would check for vaccum leaks

    also, the spring and clip at around 11:05 should come with the pedal assembly to begin with, right?
    gyazo.com/872c4ccfd170a8014a2798bf4504f26f
    if i'm not mistaken that's the parts.
    I'm just ordering new hydraulics and clutches and flywheel and reusing everything else out of a 92 325i which hopefully has a getrag transmission as well, and the only thing I'm skeptical about besides wiring now is dealing with those small clips, springs, and what not. I'm gonna guess though that, for the most part, I would have all of these if I take the entire assembly from the car?

    • @M3NACE
      @M3NACE  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      MCatwar if you pull the assembly out of a car you should have everything you need, if not they are easy and cheap parts to find/order
