Rox, you have beautiful blue birds nesting in your garden bird house! Now to keep the nasty sparrows from raiding the nest and chasing the blue birds away.
Rox have you considered laying a cover on the weeds like Gary and Mel did to there garden. That would help save time from mowing and pulling weeds. Love seeing the bird at your garden birdhouse.
Just looking around d and seeing an overview of your home and property makes me so happy for you. Just wow guys! What a terrific place you’ve carved out for your whole family, in whatever sizes they come in. Big admirer 🇨🇦👵👋👏
Anthony you are doing a fantastic job with the green house build. ❤ love. Your work is amazing and fantastic work you are doing a fantastic job ❤love it. ❤
My husband, Darrell, and I have been watching you since the beginning and we enjoy it. I enjoy the gardening and your cooking. He enjoys the building. We live about half way between Waldron and Mena on Highway 71. Just wanted to say I think your bluebird is an Indigo Bunting. A regular bluebird has a rusty orange breast. Both are beautiful.
Hay Ant you are working all that good food off Rox makes for you. Wow! It sure is looking great so far, The green house will be fabulous when it is all finished. Rox you are doing a great job also. They are getting their home ready They are moving in. They found their forever home. They are beautiful.
❤ Congratulations on the walls. Don't forget to add the 2X4's on the top lol. Going to be a great greenhouse but I thought Roxanne was going to put it outside of the garden area to the east? That was a year ago or more. I guess plans changed. Enjoyed the show.
That green house is going to be in the perfect spot. Loving the build, it’s going to be nice and solid. You two have some fantastic ideas when planning your build. What a nice addition to the yard. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Anthony & Rox, you are so meticulous on your builds and we can see this greenhouse is being built with lots of love. It will serve you well for many years, I’m sure.❤😊
Afternoon RoxAnna, and Anthony, It's so great that your getting your green house built. You will love having it to start and grow things in. I'm so excited to see it finish. Please stay safe, Keep the Faith, Sending my love and God's blessings to you all. Wanda In Bartlesville,Ok.
I would highly recommend Thompson's Water seal all boards before you put on the covering. Greenhouses cause a lot of condensation, which shortens it's life.
That was an Eastern Bluebird. They just showed up at my place here in Minnesota last week. I love it when the birds start coming back after winter. Always makes me happy. Great job you two!
Rox and ant congrats on your 12 year anniversary. May there be many many more years together. Enjoy seeing the build and the excitement in rox as it is getting done.. Enjoy y'all special anniversary and be bless . Keep y'all heads up. Homer West Virginia
Looks well constructed. Unless your planning on expanding your fenced in garden construction I would of built the greenhouse outside the garden itself with a door opening into the garden
Hi. Instead of moving the bird house, what about just turning it around? The bird parents may not come back to it if you mess with it too much. Turning it would just move the door around one side. The babies would have the time to learn baby bird things. Just trying to help. 🤷♀️ You have a great week.
Those blue birds are so beautiful....I get nothing like that here in central Alberta. I would put a birdbath in the garden so they wouldn't be disturbed.
In CT I made wooden and clear corrugated plastic tents over my planting beds and planted a month early as those hard tents orcold frames heated up the soil fast. This gave me lettuce and veggies extra early and gave me longer seasons of veggies. I also just wrapped 2 foot high sections of clear corrugated plastic inside 5 gallon pails of soil and drilled holes to zip tie the plastic. I put flat pieces on top and zip tied them. I lifted them off to water. But you don't need much water after that because those mini hot houses become terrariums. Again extra long seasons. I often did my eggplants and bell peppers in 5 gallon buckets. Weedless gardening benefits too! A great video. Loved it!
Love the birds nesting. Cant wait to see final product on greenhouse🎉🎉. Just a suggestion....why dont you put weed barier cloth inbetween garden beds with gravel or pebbles over the top? It could only look amaizing with that greenhouse standing tall and the surrounding garden beds. 🎉 just an idea. ❤
I think it is a blue bird. My experience is the male blue bird has a tan chest and lighter lower belly. The Indigo bunting has a solid blue chest and belly.
@@KempFamilyHill Definitely mountain bluebirds. I get indigo buntings and painted buntings at my feeders down here in Fl. The mountain bluebird could also be mistaken for a lazuli bunting and you won't see lazuli buntings in Arkansas. Roxanne's birds aren't blue grosbeak either. It is real easy to get confused over all of these different blue birds.
@@nachomom-fk2bi Actually, they're Eastern Bluebirds. Mountain Bluebirds don't have the rust-colored chest like these have. What's really interesting is that none of the "blue" birds are actually blue. The color is created from the structure of the feathers and the arrangement of the protein molecules. Without the light reflection, they will actually look dark gray or black.
Rox, I enjoy watching your family very much. You guys are doing an amazing job. I also watch Walker Farm Family. And Gary Walker said if you put marigolds around your squash it’s supposed to stop the squash bugs from getting on your plants. Just wanted to let you know this. I know you work so hard on your garden. Good luck honey I hope it works for you. I will continue to be watching ❤
Awesome job! With your enthusiasm it’s going to be epic! Please send me some delicious tomatoes please😅. So excited for you both and seeing the rest of the build. Happy belated Mother’s Day and Happy Anniversary to you both 🎉❤
The flowers you can hang outside the door of the greenhouse. As far as the birds you are lucky to have them. Usually with all the cats around the birds stay at bay. I put a window bird feeder up on my new apartment but my neighbor has 4 cats. Not a single bird has come up.
Roxanne I saw on Facebook where someone took an old lantern and made a bird house where the lamp guts were and it was so cute I just loved it and I bet Anthony could make you one just like it if he has enough wood left over from building the greenhouse for you
Hello you two, looking good. I'm no green thumb lol, But I brought a camping/fishing sink that I use outside for family gatherings and when we camp out. It folds up like those folding tables and it just hooks up to the water holes and it shuts on and off like a faucet. It also has space on the other side for hand soap or what ever. But you you will need a paint bucket underneath to catch the water. I think that would be perfect for your green house.
I think they were talking about the lazuli bunting or the indigo bunting because both of those buntings are blue and the bluebirds nesting in the nest box can easily be mistaken for either of the blue colored buntings. I even made the mistake of calling them mountain bluebirds and they are definitely eastern bluebirds. The beak is not like the beak on a bunting or grosbeak species.
Hello Anthony and Roxanne 👋. Exciting times. Your garden is looking good👍. The greenhouse is really coming along. Going to be a awesome space to work in. Good luck✌️🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️
Your garden is going to be wonderful!! You’ve probably answered this question many times, but why did you put your house right behind your sister’s? With over 40 acres, wouldn’t you have liked a little more privacy? Thanks again!! Can’t wait to see the finished greenhouse! 😊
Heres a good hint for you if you’re having any problem with mosquitoes. get some citronella geraniums they will help to keep the mosquitoes away. after they grow a little bit you can take cuttings and root them in a glass of water and have more of them setting around and with your greenhouse, you can start cuttings over the winter and place them everywhere. Most Geraniums can be started from cuttings by the way. The cutting should be only three or 4 inches long and remove all leaves that will fall beneath the waterline in your glass.
Hi Rox and Ant, I’m sure this won’t be your last build so keep this idea in mind for future use. When I built my own home, I had many wall studs the exact same length. I didn’t like the idea of tediously measuring and cutting each stud. I did that for 4 studs and was not too impressed. Then I thought, if I squared one end on all stud material and lined them up across a flat surface, aligned the squared ends and clamped a dozen together, measured the length and with a straight edge mark the cutting line. I then sawed the studs, 12 at a time and stacked studs in their own pile. It saved lots of time and effort. This is going to look great when you’re done.
I agree, I was always taught never to mess with a birds nest or the parents will never come back to it. Just my opinion but I wouldn’t even turn it. After the babies leave the nest then y’all can move it. It’s gonna be so cute seeing the babies learn to fly and all. Did you say what kind they were?
It is so relaxing to watch you guys build stuff. The birds are really chirping and the roasters are crowing today. I can almist smell the sawdust! Looking good guys❤❤😂😢😮😊
I think I might be just a bit more excited to see the greenhouse build than you are. Itching to see it come together. Roxie, those tomatoes look fabulous! Also you have some High dollar living space are you going to charge the blue birds any rent? { If you build it they will come! } Kidding aside things are looking up for the entire garden this year. Wish I could be there getting my hands dirty toiling in the soil as i did in my way younger days. ..... And Anthony, how do you manage to remember all those measurements? You do so well with that. Many thumbs up guys!!! Me southern AZ.
We have bluebirds in our neighbors houses but it seems the only person that puts out the wormmies for them is us. The wrens, red headed woodpeckers and some other birds i have no idea what they are eat the wormmies. A pair of bluebirds raised a nest of young in the newspaper box across the street from us. Now we have only a couple of bluebirds as they have flown north. We live in northern Fl. Love watching the birds.
FYI: if you need to keep the cats off of the two by fours going towards the bird nest you could always go to the hardware store and get a box of the carpet tact strips and nailed them up there that way the cats will not walk across it.
If you see both birds fly in and out of the bird house then the babies are borned and the male and female feed them 24- 7 until 21 days and they take flight, I have blue birds in my birdhouse every year and when they both fly in and out they are feeding their babies.you probley did hear the babies.
Those are blue birds, very beautiful
Rox, you have beautiful blue birds nesting in your garden bird house! Now to keep the nasty sparrows from raiding the nest and chasing the blue birds away.
Yep that what I was going to say........I think you have bluebirds not buntings and yes they are beautiful!
Rox have you considered laying a cover on the weeds like Gary and Mel did to there garden. That would help save time from mowing and pulling weeds. Love seeing the bird at your garden birdhouse.
I love the natural sounds of you guys working and all the sounds around you.
Just looking around d and seeing an overview of your home and property makes me so happy for you. Just wow guys! What a terrific place you’ve carved out for your whole family, in whatever sizes they come in. Big admirer 🇨🇦👵👋👏

Ahhh the beautiful blue birds nesting looking lovely ❤❤❤

I love the indigo buntings, they’re beautiful birds ❤

The greenhouse reminds me of a tiny chapel! And really it's a place to go for solitude. 🌺🥀🌹💐👍
Those look like Eastern Bluebirds. I have them here in my birdhouses. Love sitting on my porch in the mornings and watching them.
You two are good carpenters. Birds are Feeding babies
What a WONDERFUL gardening project!!! 🥰🎶❤️🎶🌻🌻🌻🏡🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Great progress you guys on the greenhouse!! The birds are so cool!

They look blue but not a blue bird? Pretty anyway. They will love the garden I'm sure!
I would have to put a game camera up to watch those birds near the birdhouse!!!❤️
LQQkin’Groovy!!👍🌿🌱
Great job you two, going to be fantastic!
Looking good.
Glad to see you have some birds hanging out at one of the birdhouses.
Looking great guys can’t wait till you can use it . 💕
Gosh you two are amazing builders! Well done so far and can't wait to see the continuation of the greenhouse!

Green house looking good. Ur gonna have amazing garden Rox when it’s finished ❤❤
Hi everybody
Those are Blue Birds
Hello Anthony and Roxanne 👋. Exciting times. Your garden is looking good👍. The greenhouse is really coming along. Going to be a awesome space to work in. Good luck✌️🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️
You need to keep weeds down around your yard and garden beds , keep it neat

You can tap on the side of the house and when the parent fly outs open the side and take a look. 🐦🐦🐦
We have a birdhouse up high, kind of private and it works
Looking great I wouldn't move the bird house till the babies are gone or they might leave them.
God Bless from your Canadian Friend.

Eastern Bluebirds
🙋♀️ Good Afternoon Guys!! ✨️🦋
Those birds have themselves a nest
You guys are lucky. In Alberta planting outside is safe in late may. End sept. Too cold
Eastern blue bird it’s our state bird up here in Missouri
You should have built the greenhouse outside the garden but have to walk thru the garden to access it.. would give you more room

looking good. are you planning to put down weed mat and stone around the veggie gardens. would look gorgeous.
If there are eggs or babies in the bird house, you can’t move it until the babies hatch and leave.

I watched your video again and realized your bird is a Eastern Bluebird. Sorry about telling you wrong in my previous comment.
Oh my goodness that bird with the blue looking back is beautiful
