@Lot76CARS I was invited by TH-cam to participate in a short survey about your channel and I gave 5 stars. You deserve the praise because of your quality input. Thank you.
I seem to recall swing a Yellow Mehari at Brooklands French day last year, perhaps the same car. 🤔 That can tail spider is stunning. I remember the scene in Get Carter with the Sunbeam, great film but I couldn't watch the remake. I recall Clarkson comparing the coupe version of the crossfire to a squatting dog. Another relatively modern car that you very rarely see these days. Nice P1800, there were lots of subtle differences between the Jenson and in house cars. I can't believe the Golf has been around for half a century. I remember the SAAB 93 Vigen and Aero models, the three door version in particular was a great looking car. I always wanted an Esprit and I believe you are correct about the R25 gearbox and SD1 lights and don't forget the Marina door handles. ,😅 The Indy looks stunning. The classic cars in this run have certainly come along way from the pre war cars taking part in the early days.
Thanks Mark, I think I might also have seen that Mehari elsewhere too.. I must do a bit more research. The Viggen was a one owner from new example, immaculate and with the so called Abbott racing rescue kit that better secured the steering rack to the bulkhead. The Crossfire has grown on me in droptop form, but not as a coupe.. I still struggling with that styling!
Unfortunately, no part 2 as I needed to leave before the last cars had left. Are you are the Ford nationals at the British Motor Museum in a few weeks?
I always look forward to your channel uploads. This was entertaining and enjoyable. Thank you very much.
Many thanks Scott, much appreciated!

Great day out! Looking good out there.
Great video! Good to see all the metal I missed whilst taking part as a navigator myself today!
Hope you had a good journey to Brighton, great day for it!

Oh that Scirocco!
Indeed! I’ve seen it at Brooklands before. It’s just such a clean, crisp, simple but striking design.. in kingfisher blue what’s not to like???
It would be a manta Ray on the manta oddly enough 😂😂😂
And strangely sometime afterwards a very big penny dropped with a huge thud🫢
Is there a part 2 coming?

@@Lot76CARS no I missed that, but I will be at Ford Fair :)
Volvo were less than happy with Jensen's quality of work so they built the cars back in Sweden.
Apparently so, I’ve just since an excellent review on the Number 27 channel describing the issues!
Brilliant as always, I don't know why but I love that Allegro
Thanks Steve, I think because so many of us grew up with BL cars we’ve all got fond memories of being in one at some time or another!
