to me; in a long run, it will be the Aruz. you can flip the 3rd row seat to have a huge space for your stuff unlike Ativa that you have to sacrifice the 2nd row seat. At the same time, within 9 years; assumption of maximum years of loan; we need an Aruz more when we already have a family or to bring our nephews and nieces going out.
Love the very relevant review to answer this burning question! Excellent professional presentation too. Fantastic work gentlemen!! liked and subscribed! Recommend timestamps for future productions :)
It depends some matured family the kids has their own car, so there is no need for a large car which can be inconvenience especially in town or housing area.
Wow, this is so useful,I also have problems to choose which one but we like aruz practicality, could you all try compare aruz n alza cus they both 7 seater but different segment, 1 suv, 1 mpv
Aiman did a very good video about Alza in this channel. In conclusion, if you want to pay RM500-600/month; go for Alza. If you want to pay RM800-RM900/month; go for Aruz. But mind you that Alza do not have much in terms of specification; it wins at large space, very very practical and so many spare parts available in the market.
I took the Ativa out to Temerloh last weekend. This was the first real test for our new car. This was also my first time using a car with a 7-speed CVT transmission (with Sports & manual mode). In short, it was a happy drive for me. I could easily adapt my driving to the new car. The outbound drive was a learning one for me, but the drive back was fun. I had already experienced the ASA system. I had driven a 2019 Toyota Rav4 in Australia which had the similar (if not the same) system. So that wasn’t new to me. The KL-Karak driving portion really needed the manual or sports mode for it to be smooth. The many S-corners needed it. There wasn’t any performance issues during the Genting/Tunnel climb. I was very happy with that one. Karak-Temerloh segment is where the cruise & ASA system shined. Felt like a pilot using the airplane’s auto-pilot to manage the drive. One thing I learnt was not to be aggressive with the pedal. Which means I had still lots of space to go further. At higher speeds, the car was stable, even when overtaking 18-wheelers. Overall, it was a fun car for us.
"Bro...not my problem." 😂😂😂 The most honest answer u can give hahahahaha...for me when it's time to swap out my truck i think I'll go the "uncle" option lah...and besides the ladder chassis is similar to what i am currently driving too...hopefully by then they might upgrade it to a DCVT like the upcoming Alza replacement that will be having based on the new Toyota Avanza...hell...the Toyota Veloz looks like a 7seater Ativa too 🤔
We disagree. Young families or small families would be excellently served by the Ativa, too. Concurrently, the Aruz is favoured by plenty of single individuals who need the space to run their side businesses. Both cars are immensely practical and versatile, it just depends on how you define those two words.
this is very much helpful! not buying a car in the nearest time but I would like to choose a car now to make it easier for me to start saving up for it. Another way is, i love your English pronunciation!
Another great video Aiman. To be fair, if you need the space like 70-80% of your driving time, then go for the Aruz. I'll pick the latest tech..... ATIVA 👍. p/s. Why Perodua doesn't provide DRL... couldn't understand something so basic?
Daytime running lights are not mandatory by law, and therefore Perodua sees no need to integrate them as standard. They are however available as an option via the GearUp accessory catalogue.
@@MalaysianMotoring Agree DRL was not mandatory BUT all new vehicles came with DRL as standard, why NOT Perodua? I'm willing to pay more to have it as standard if that's a cost factor from Perodua. The Gear Up body kits are ugly as the DRL was neither verticle or horizontal...OMG
This is a sales pitch from perodua, this man completely confuses viewers. How come both cars are equally good and no differences that leads +ves or -ves
They're different products for different segments. They both have positives and negatives depending on what buyers are looking for, which is what we're pointing out. If we wanted to sell cars, we could make alot more money running a dealership.
98hp a bit too less power for ativa. And you need to install an after market blower for the second row, since Malaysian weather is so freaking hot. If i have 80k to spare i will buy 2nd hand honda civic.
I was thinking d same as well until i tested my frens ativa recently. Im very surprised the car throttle response is almost immediate. Dun underestimate it and go test drive yourself

Yep aruz win alot interm of size n offroad capability , but ativa is better in engine n specification cus of the new car
Aruz is made by 3rd world country, ativa is made by japan.. that's it
terbaek 2 youtuber nie, aku mmg kurang kalau ckp omputih nie... tp bila tgk vid nie, aku jadi paham apa yg dia ckp...
Good review.
Both are good cars.
Depends on age factor.
Ativa for younger and racing spirit
Aruz for grown up and family man.

good intel. i myself got stuck on this two product now i have my clear picture. thank you so much (keepitup)
thank you for the info, I like Aiman the way his explanation is great..
Definitely the Ativa, unless you really need the space and 3rd row with the Aruz.

Good comparison
Helpful review
Simple, lonely & single = Ativa😏
Family guy, wife, child = Aruz👩👩👦👦

Aruz only has the look and space.. that's all.. it worst compare to other model too.. ativa is the best perodua yet with DNGA

Yeah man. Izzat's area is only slightly worse than Aiman's.
penat org explain dia tanya pulak yg mana terbaik 🤣
Latest tech and safety.. Ativa is better.. cheaper..

Will kantoi when you park at the mall with the engine running and suddenly there's a car waiting for you to drive out of the parking space.
Which one is best for me? Yes its my problem not your problem. Its depends on many factors
Aruz can do drift if convert to manual
If ativa come with turbo 4 cylinder, it will best car in country.
Y i feel lik im watching ‘ujian lisan bhs inggeris group session”? 😂😂 btw nice video…
Dude seriously???? Potholes at your housing area makes you wanna buy suv??? Blue shirt are you sureee???
