This waterfall is still located in the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGP) Cibodas area because it is located on the slopes of Mount Pangrango at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters above sea level. To the right of Curug Cibeureum is Curug Cidendeng, its size is taller and slimmer. The water crossed the trap rock cliffs and fell onto the mossy cliff slope. While on the far right is Curug Cikundul, it is located very high and somewhat hidden in the alcoves of two cliffs.
These three waterfalls have a height of between 40-50 meters and are at an altitude of 1675 m above sea level (asl). The average rainfall in this area ranges from 3,000-4,200 mm per year. The wet months are from October to May, during the northwest season and the average rainfall is more than 200 mm per month. December to March the rainfall can reach more than 400 mm per month. According to the climate classification of Scamidt and Ferguson, the climate type in this area belongs to climate type A. The average temperature varies between 18 °C in Cibodas and less than 10 °C at the peak of Pangrango.
