    My man, I am in the middle of a top end rebuild on my own XR. Having never done work like this before , I would have paid money for these walkthroughs. Thanks so much for coherently and competently illustrating the procedures. I owe you a sixer!

      They ain’t perfect but for anyone half competent with a set of tools they should do just fine. Glad they’re helping you though for sure. I’m currently having an issue with the automatic compression release in the camshaft and with all of my research I’m going to end up replacing it. You will be able to hear the ticking sound it makes in part 4 when you watch that one. I will be doing an addendum to the series showcasing that and what I have found and learned just with dealing with that camshaft, its pretty widely known around the forums and reddits about it.

    Wow. When finished this should run as good as new. Tolerances on this machine seem very close thusly it will run excellently and for a long time. Lots of stuff to put together though. Better you than me. Thanks for the video's.

    Hey I install that sprocket on cam shaft "out" facing up, I now I wonder should I change it.... I have some problems with valve clearance and tapping noise in engine.
