This episode was amazing! The knowledge Georges has and his maturity surrounding multiple subjects made this episode 10 times more interesting! Credits to you Jad, you're an amazing host, you know how to ask the right questions while also keeping the flow of conversation!! I'd like to see someone like Khalil Nassar or Elie Rustom Next!
although i'm a sagesse fan, he's probably my favourite coach (although i love coach gattuso). Even from pre game or post game interviews it shows how smart he is and how impactful he was for riyadi
This is the first episode of the podcast I've watched.. Completely loved every second of it.. Hats off Coach Geagea.. and Hats off Jad Mbarak,You both are reaching places.. I'm gonna continue watching all the remaining episodes.. Fantastic detailed podcast
Great conversation that was very well concluded, healthy competition is indeed very important ! Rod was mentioned a lot in this episode, would love to see him on the podcast next.
Amazing show jad...its the only basketball show that i could watch for hours without getting bored keep up the great work and its was good knowing all sides of the great coach geagea but hope to kick his ass in the finals 💚👑🏆
Great episode with lots of insights, george has so much knowledge at such a young age ! Who’s next? U should get ghassan sarkis to do a comparison between old and new basketball styles
Many thanks for asking my questions. On the next show would be great if you could give us how coaches prepare for facing a Team where 1 star stands out as we're seeing too often in this Eurobasket (Doncic with Slovenia, Giannis with Greece, Markannen with Finland or Jokic with Serbia). As an opposing manager, how do you defend in such a situation?
Hello coach Jad, such a great episode !! Some high caliber basketball talk, I just love it! You are such a great listener, you give your guests the right time to develop and express their ideas without ever interrupting and that's a rarity in Lebanon. Coach Georges what a great guy !! He's ambitious, smart, energetic and most importantly ready to learn every day. I still can't believe he managed to coach a club like Riyadi, that's just incredible! With all due respect to all other clubs in Lebanon, but Riyadi is far above every other team including Sagesse. Winning at Riyadi has been an OBLIGATION for the last 17 years unlike any other team in the league. So, for coach Georges to still survive this pressure is beyond incredible. Having said that, he needs to mature more which is obviously normal and work on his relationships with players which is really challenging for a guy of his age. Thank you coach Jad, please keep it up! PS: I hope you are following the Euro basket 2022 coz if you’re not, u’re missing a lot! We are unfortunately miles away from most of the teams..
Thank you Salam, appreciate the nice words. It's a learning process for everyone but I'm glad people are really enjoying it. And yes I am, even though my pick to win it all lost against Italy 🥵
Just wow great great episode enjoyed every second. keep it up 🔥🔥🔥 I would love to see Amir I believe it would be another great episode with him especially to discuss his vision with riyadi's academy, NT, next season with riyadi....
Amazing Podcast ; it’s great to share knowledge of the game of basketball; one question that really wonders in my mind ; why can’t we have player trades in LBL? Especially before the playoffs start as teams can address what they are lacking and trading for players that can help them make a deep playoff run.
I've always suggested this.. not necessarily before the playoffs (teams who are out of contention will give away players for nothing) but maybe after the 1st round (Aller) is over. It would benefit both teams and players if it happens.
Another great episode 👏 ! I don't get how can we have such awesome knowledgeable basketball community (coaches , trainers, scouter, players ,leader, sport management ,idols, heros) while we have the poorest , stupidest ,egoisited, terrorist dudes ran/run the federations.. thanks Jad for your investment in basketball, one day you will well compensated on your effort and get what you deserve ! Cheers
Thank you my friend 🙌🏽 appreciate the nice words. The whole system is based on politics (just like the government) so you already know how the voting will go and who will be in a decision making position..
The biggest mistake is made in the Arab's world that FIRED a coach during INseason and the biggest problem is the acceptance of the alternative coach, PLUS hired players days befor final four or night before final ???!!!. A side note... To teach your philosophy as a coach needs at least 6 weeks of preparation beside very looong processing building times to develope and improve the team. REMEMBER, that 'IF' you really have deep Rich philosophy and vision ??.
Reading in psychology isn’t enough … great job that you do it but not enough… I’m in psychology major with silent p !!! Studying in US and still learning how to be able to understand people, mind, social and so on . Reading only can’t give you the full knowledge to deal with ppl … stop taking webinar or certificate and believe that you are a psychologist:( I know ppl here that they have phd in psychology and still learning. I’m not against reading but I’m sure that you need more and more Phill Jackson studied psychology, philosophy, and religion in college! You ain’t phill Jackson boo
He never said he's a psychologist, but that he's interested in reading about it and maybe one day becoming one.. I also don't think telling someone to "stop taking webinar or certificate" is the right advice to give.
Still I've seen many psychologists who have a phd masters whatever, and still do a poor job at it. In today's age, you have to accept that learning online has become possible and in many cases even better than university. And often people underestimate life experiences. You can have a degree from the most notable university and still know very little.. I have done my masters in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, but I never started a business myself yet. I can assure you however, someone without a degree but who is managing a company with 10 employees knows better than me. Ofcourse the combination of theoretical and experiencing life is what creates magic, but you get the point.

Dear Jad, Great show. But please stop telling your guests good answer and great answer coz it is condescending. otherwise keep up the good work.
Giving my opinion about an answer = condescending? How is that different from me saying "I don't agree" and arguing about a certain subject?
My dream is to be a coach. But i am still young. Just 19yo😅
Coach george is my idol , but i am sagessian for dead
Never too young man.. never too young
