Called to a life of War | Numbers 1:1-46

What does he mean that we are called to a life of war? “War” is “the action of combatting an enemy; Defending assets; To be active in vigorous conflict.” War is ugly. There is fighting, training, sacrificing, killing, tearing down, scars, wounds, memories, and so much more. This same call that the children of Israel are given to a life of war, is the similar call Christians are given as they become in Christ. The same Gospel that brings peace with God, brings war with sin. What kind of warfare do we wage against our enemies, the devil, sin, the world, and our desires?
1. It is a war of crushing foolish idols
2. It is a war of being willingly sent
3. It is a war of staying thoroughly clean
4. It is a war of walking in growing grace
