Thank you for the great tutorial. I'm moving my Mira to a scroll rod from the Q-snap so I can reach everything easier.

I found with the American dream bars they aren’t thick enough. They have a bow in them really quickly. So I replaced the dowel with thick dowel and use my own knobs. I do have the Omanik but find my own bars better. Just as good of tension. I used to buy the tape from Amazon. But I found sew on micro tape. It is wider than the tape you have. When my project is finished I unpick tape and can reuse it. I sew a channel with my Omanik frames so either way I am sewing. Great demonstration video. I must like tighter tension as well as I found the American dream knobs I was tightening so much the middle of the knob would come out so I had to keep replacing them. I do still use the side bars from American dream. And totally agree they feel amazing.

I have the E-Z system. Agree about how nice the side bars feel..made me laugh.. I keep the tape on the roll and peel back the protective paper a couple of inches at a time as I stick it to the fabric. I also start about 1/4.-1/2 inch from the end of fabric. I love using the tape.

It’s ‘Banshee’ by Fabrics by Stephanie, but warning-every other piece of Banshee I’ve gotten has been darker blues/browns so this piece might be a unicorn. Her color Kaleidoscope is probably closer in looks from what I’ve gotten recently.
