If you have sufficient support barrages, you can actually beat B1 with an LB0 fleet. This makes it cost only 25 oil for 60 event points. (Example: Bogue Lvl 1-30 and Downes Lvl 70, supported by New Jersey, UVH, Shimakaze, and Kronshtadt)
you can actually go even lower: my current setup (may change) is Deutschland, Laffey, LB1 & Terror LB2, with some purple equipment. 19 oil cost. Not the most optimal pairing but it does save more. and this without fleet barrage.
I'm still missing Arkhangelsk for my planned Parliament fleet. If i doesn't get her, i'm not sure, if it's better to put Gangut on the place or to put Chang Chun into the backrow and put Tashkent into the Vanguard in instead 🤔
In my opinion, I like the way they go with the UR this time around. For once it didn't make its DR equivalent obsolete (looking at you, New Jersey!), instead filling a different role while still being a powerful unit on its own. One thing came to my mind regarding that smoke screen section. During the Kizuna Ai collab event, there's an event aux gear that manipulates the vanguard AI that locks them into a diamond pattern instead of the random and questionably evasive pattern. Would be really nice if they release a bunch of these with simple movement patterns in the future. If anything to prevent them from randomly ramming a BB in ch 14...
New Jersey might have a few close equivalents... And a few superiors... One Battleship, Jean Bart... Which already made Friedrich Der Grosser obsolete... Champagne can get more damage, same with Georgia and Marco Polo but you need very specific circumstances Ps: I want that Kizuna AI gear pattern to be available... as a different gear of course... Though it’s movement is sometimes bad If you don’t want ships to ram, either go with Glowworm, or just use slower moving ships
@@glauberglousger6643 Thing is, making a slow vanguard just defeats the evasive pattern in the first place. If you have high speed you can get out of the way of BB salvos and the like quite comfortably, but on auto those movements will usually endsup with your kansen stuck on said BB's hull. If you're slow then yeah, they don't get stuck as often, but they got hit more, and if they do get stuck, well, good luck. As for FdG, well she was the best general use BB, while JB is pretty much a specialized one. There might be circumstances where you don't want JB in the fleet, but FdG used to be the foolproof unit to slot in if you're not sure (minus oil cost of course). Then NJ came and let's just say while they're pretty neck-to-neck in damage performance (personall experience during META fights these two kept stealing MVPs from each other), but FdG is saddled with 0 luck, poor AA, and lack of cross-fleet support, making NJ the new best general purpose BB. Sure, they can fix it since FdG hasn't got her fate sim yet, and I don't expect anything not to get powercrept sooner or later, but considering the grind for FdG against NJ's probably bugged construction rate... Let's just say the work feels a bit unappreciated. Oh and I don't hate NJ mind you. On the other hand, Kron does not try to muscle in to Agir's territory, and Azuma is still viable because of her fate sim and the plethora of IJN fleet buffs. It's just the better way to handle things, you know?

The events been mostly alright for me, got Kronstadt on my 13th pull, and some pulls later I managed Volga the rest are kinda mia but as I'm still new, I'm barely around 30 days since I started I'm pretty content

Im having a great time with this event, the only shipgirl missing is Kiev, so maybe I will buy her when the time comes. Kronshtadt y Volga has become a good reinforcement for the NP fleet. Great video Neldrin Volga is my favorite this event she does high damage and heals will be oathing her for sure!! I prefer using a Wyvern on Volga over any converging types cause her luck is meh and she has no possible damage amplifier like a Ark Royal or Enterprise types have. Arkhangelsk even if decent will never match up to Gangut's damage output or overall impact on a Russian fleet as a whole only should be running Gangut in a NP fleet. I prefer Kiev more than Pamiat due to synergy with Tashkent. Plus the 3 of them (Kron, tash, and Kiev) have overwhelming barrages. For backline, you can go Volga, Rossiya and Gangut (or backline Chang Chun instead of Gangut, for added RLD and FP buff to the Vanguards)

I had a draft and planned to publish it some weeks ago (during their retrofit release) But because of busy schedule, plus events came quickly. I wasn't able to. Hopefully I'll finish it once I got the time :)
Volga is better than Ryuuhou imo. Because of higher HP pool + multiple heals. Ryuuhou can only heal 1 at a time, and only 3x per battle (tho you can ignore the 2nd statement as it is less likely to go beyond) Volga can heal up to 3 ships per 20s. And because, you'll be bringing 6 ships most of the time when clearing stages, her heals stacking to 1 target is less likely to happen. Damage wise, still Volga because of her red skill and access to dive bombers. Ryuuhou can only equip fighters and torp bombers. Even tho Ryuuhou have better torpbomber efficiency, having dive bomber is better because of more surface damage you can bring.
With Krondstadt's equipment the UR gun isnt a heavy caliber so why use that and nerf barrage by more than 50%? ive seen this setup suggested but unsure why?
Arkhanglesk is such a nice BB but her skill modifier on her barrage is super lack cluster, like why would someone put modifiers that are 1.0 - 1.3 - 1.5 (L , M , H) armor? like? she's like slapping papers.
Drops from shipbuilding on this event haven't been too bad with the exception of Kiev. 3 builds daily, 50k event points mostly from D3 and still no sign. I think Putin is going to obtain Kiev before me at this point.
@@Manish_kumar_gope if you're asking me, I'm at Commander lvl 69, I spent a fair amount of time auto battling to level a bunch of ships up when I would get one I liked but I can really only decent gear maybe 2-3 ships
D3 is a complete nightmare with the random barrages... And just upgrade all gear tech boxes to elite, you’ll get better stuff... If you want the full story, clear B3 One thing to note is if you want better gear, farm for it... Or use guild points/merit to buy tech boxes... You could also use coins, but you need those for building... And if you can be bothered and have the oil and time for farming enough event points... Use 4,800 points to buy all tech boxes... Priority goes: 1. Eagle Union 2. Royal Navy 3. Sakura Empire 4. Ironblood Ps: EXP packs are extremely useful to get at least one Vanguard and Main Fleet ship to level 100, it won’t be enough to clear D3 unless you have a healer, and decide not to go for 3 stars
That and Cosmic kicks are nice alternative. But because of limited to 1 copy, the beaver badge ended up in my PvP ship. (hence forgot to include it in my slide :P)

The UR gun's DPS is insane, that missing out the barrage won't hinder it's performance

Krons heal is useless when fighting nukers(boss)..if only her heal make her invulnerable for a few seconds.
She is a strong mob fleet member afterall. The cross fleet support also benefits the boss fleet more.
