We absolutely love our Jeep Patriot! Ours is a 2014 and we've had it for almost a year. I'm bummed out that 2017 is the last year for production on this fun little SUV, it's a blast to zip around in. We take it everywhere, the beach, the mountains and the city. Thanks Jeep for making a great little car that so much fun to drive :0)

This is pretty cool to watch. I'm on my 3rd Jeep Patriot (first one I sold for a profit, 2nd one got totalled at 327,000km). Not the best quality SUV, but often times "good enough" sells the best!

OK lets try this again. I did this big long write up on the Renegade that I got and not my previous Patriot. I only ended up keeping the Patriot for 4 months. I got it as a 5 speed manual, bare bones, power nothing (except steering). I;m dumb and thought I could live without AC. It would have cost WAY WAY WAAAAAAAAAAY too much to add it after the fact. Believe me I did a lot of research on this and it would take way too long to explain here. I ended up eating a little money but traded up to a 2016 Jeep Renegade. That said, other than that I really liked my Patriot. It's boxy old school look made it very space efficient. It has modest power but got the job done. Stick sift was not the best but I had driven worse, and clutch was a little stuff, but not excessively so. Ride quality was fine, nothing super amazing, seats where fairly comfy. XM Radio antenna seemed like it was defective or poorly designed and didn't pull down the signal very well. Oddly my Renegade has this exact same problem. Oddly most of my car buddies hated my Patriot. I think they thought that because of it's old school look they thought it was crap. Maybe it is, but it served me well while I had it. Took it camping, its FWD and handled the graded dirt road in the rain on the way out perfectly fine, but so did all the other front wheel drive cars. Hope this all helps.
If this is Belividere like I think, I live about 60 or so miles East from there. I like to drive along the Rock River on Rt 2 right next to it south of Rockford. Everytime we pass this place (which is making the new Compass( I tell my 2014 Patriot 4x4 "this is where you were born" lol.......
I bought a brand new 2017 Patriot Limited and i love it to a point that im taking it with me to Europe. The only thing i would ever complaint about are squeeky brakes.

So beautiful to see the American Auto industry at work. Sad to see that this was most likely filmed right before Chrysler filed for bankruptcy and these workers lost their jobs 😪 EDIT: @ 2:21 I just realized that this was filmed post-bailout because of the facelifted dashboard 😁, Love my ‘16 Compass!
I wonder if My “Vermie” aka Vermillion❤was born here or even in this video. She is a Jeep Patriot 2014 Red Cherry color. I admit Jeep Patriot is not the best car but I still love her. And she isn’t super hard to work on. First year actually saying no more to expensive mechanic bills and working on her myself. Me and that car been through some emotional stuff. I’ll drive her till her wheels fall off and her engine completely bust. I think I am her 3rd owner but anyways she will never have another owner after me. I want to be there when she has to be crushed at a junkyard as well 😢. I refuse to let her sit at a junkyard and be stripped of her pieces like some w*ore. Ill do the stripping or supervise it at my house and then crush her. No random will be making a fool out of her. Anyways, yeah im emotionally attached to my car that I tear up thinking about her last days 😂.. Still has 100k miles to go before that.😊

I have a Jeep Compass and one of the greatest vehicles I have ever owned. Definitely worth the 5k I paid for it.
