That comment that Kelley makes when he's summoning Orochi makes him sound like he's summoning a fusion monster from Yu-gi-oh.
He's a weeb deep inside
You gotta love how it comes full circle.
Saoirse exists because of William's prayers. And will continue to exist for as long as he continues to believe in her. And now, she's what's keeping him alive.
The creation giving life back to the creator
Hi can u tell if it's necessary to beat the eyes of queen to open ng+
15:44 Always loved the little smile Hanzo cracks when William walks away. The last thing he wanted to do was kill William, even if he was ordered to, and when he realizes William is no threat to them he instead gets the satisfaction of seeing a close friend depart Japan with his companion whom he worked so tirelessly to rescue, his objective accomplished.
Hell, even Ieyasu seems happy that William is still alive. He didn't want to kill Anjin either, he was just putting his nations safety first, as a Shogun should. He seems satisfied with the outcome though, letting William leave Japan instead.
Alex Mercer. I knew you were alive. Prototype 3 Confirmed.
And apparently they're crossing over with the witcher
@@BP-dn9nvyeah Nioh just made samurai geralt im glad I’m not the only guy who thinks this
Yamata-no-Orochi. "8-headed giant snake". A gigantic 8 headed serpent that demanded an annual sacrifice each year for 7 years from two earth deities. The fallen storm god Susanoo saw the deities weeping, and the explained how they had to sacrifice their daughters to Orochi, and that their final daughter Kushi-inada-hime was the final sacrifice. Susanoo stuck a deal to kill Orochi in exchange for Kishi's hand in marriage. They agree, and Susanoo formulated a plan after hiding Kushi by transforming her into a comb.. He had them set up 8 casks of Sake. When Orochi came for the sacrifice he drank the Sake and became drunk. Susanoo then cleaved off each of Orochi's 8 heads, killing him. Susanoo found an unbreakable sword in Orochi's tail. He named it Kusanagi, and gifted it to his sister, The Sun Goddess Amatarasu.
Yamata no orochi and the hercules Hydra are very similiar
Actually. Something I just realized. You fight Orochi the same way Susanoo did. By getting him drunk, but instead of Sake, you get him drunk on Amrita.
Smite, itz a great game :D
"I was born from your prayers.
Death is an entry to life. You will be reborn. In tears, in water. Life and death from a circle.
You can die and be reborn as long as I exist.
You are free from death.
Saoirse. That is my name.
I will exist as long as you believe in me"
😭
It seems like everything that you go through to get you up to this point causes boss fights to be so much easier than they should be.
Kelley is basically a Cartoon villain that always gets away throughout the series but during the Finale the Protagonist absolutely wrecks his shit.
I'm pretty sure that they made kelley seem though but when you finaly face him you realise that he was all bark no bite.
@@draw2death421 in the end he was just a clone .a common demon
@@draw2death421 He can resurrect anyone and anything , that's insanely powerful
@@draw2death421 We would all thought he would be the main antagonist (which he sort of is through the story, for everything he had done).
But turns out, everything you went through, Kelley is just a clone and we end up fighting a few weaker version of Kelleys later. It makes sense why Kelley’s fight was a bit underwhelming, although his magic is absolutely strong.
Hundred Eyes revealed to be the true final boss that caused the whole problem, and if he was ignored then there would be another Kelley once again. William made sure there was no loose ends.
Me: Watching the boss fight.
My eyes: Looking at how many skill points he has.
William needs an Okami spirit for this.
No he needs Amaterasu herself
The serpent is always the most common final boss
It's how it's depicted in mythology, especially Norse, Japan and Biblical stories.
It does if it’s Yamato No Orochi. He’s like the king of the Yokai.
@@KrimzonFlygon1 I think there are threee guys above him.
@@edrianvanitas9329 The Three Great Evil Yokai? Tamamo-no-Mae, Shuten-Doji and Sutoku-Tengu?
I think they're just particularly infamous Yokai, not the strongest. Even that one with the long head, Nurarihyon, was only called 'the strongest Yokai' because of a mistranslated.
@@KrimzonFlygon1 Wasn't Otakemaru one of the three?

The Orochi looks so badass while we only get to fight two giant bosses which are just living castles in Nioh 2 :/
And the first castle was a rehash of this boss

First ?
That mountain castle thing ?
Or the castle with the eyes?
Is Gyuki not a giant boss?
I love the symbols all over his body, I wonder what they are?
I can't speak for a meaning if they actually have one, but i know they allow him to channel spirit energy (like the spirit stones) and also give him life being he is just an amrita clone
Yeah I just knew it. When it comes to THE monster of Japan, it has to be the Yamata-no-orochi, aka the eight-headed serpent. Is there Kusanagi sword in this game?
Kusanagi Tsurugi?! Yes get it after you beat Orochi it in the video.
The reference to Susano'o
Meh, it suffers from being locked to CTA Spirit just like Raikiri... something the game failed in was making most of the gear outside set bonuses worth it on higher difficulties, to the point where their only way of improving those was giving them Graces on ethereal rarity. (CTA C+ on Raikiri is just awful to use, not to mention it's locked into Imbue Lightning as well.)
Being guaranteed the highest CTA you can get outside star effects makes Kusanagi Tsurugi viable in high Spirit builds though with a matching Grace.

It looks really cool. Just a shame that Kelley was not as strong as I hoped for :-(
Well, I mean.. his name is Kelly. Not much you can do with a name like that. >>
Edward Kelley, to be precise.
He's not so strong because he's an alchemist, and in fact, a clone.
Oh. Well ok then.
It's funny going back to old Nioh videos to see the complaints like "Pfft, easy bosses!" You just know that none of them have stepped foot in WotN.
Yeah because some people actually have lives and don't want to play one game for like a thousand hours to reach it's max difficulty
Joe Sheridan that fucking part lmao I beat the game on its regular difficulty and that’s good enough for me
@@joesheridan9451 You don't even need to wait that long. It starts getting serious on WotDemon. You have to start questioning your build choices and playstyle if you're still having problems at that point.

But his magic attacks are dangerously strong if you fail to avoid it. I remember getting easily killed.
Aside from that, he really is easy with him easily flinching and some of his attacks dont do that much damage comparing to his magic attacks. You can even interrupt his casting spells too.
So after this what triggers NG+? Is it clicking on the red ship?

This guy wasn’t too bad. His fucking clones, though...
What is it with Tecmo Koei and Orochi?
bc it's a monster that faced a god
Bible, nordic old gods, and japanese all three have something in common, a serpent against god”.
Could be the player skill. But for a game that bases itself on DS and Bloodborne you'd think the final encounter would have more fight. A small box room versus a lethargic phase one and then a slow giant monster? Egh.
This isn't the True final boss
It isn't. The difficulty started dropping like a stone near the end of this game. Mitsunari is complete bullshit, definitely the most annoying and difficult boss in the main game (I haven't played any DLCs yet). After the torture he put me through, I expected the worst going forward, and when this big, lumbering samurai bloke with a giant axe showed up, I thought "oh great, this is going to fucking suck, isn't it...". But nope, killed him first try, pretty much just kept repeating 3 combos with an easy punish at the end of each, and even his buff did jack shit. Then you refight 4 of the early game bosses, which are no harder than before, obviously.
And then of course you're up to Kelley, and....he's underwhelming to say the least. For all that he was built up to be this superpowered evil sorcerer, and considering how much shit he caused throughout the story, he's ridiculously easy. His moves (the few he has) are all pretty heavily telegraphed, and he runs out of stamina extremely easily. Yamata no Orochi is no better, super gimmicky fight that's more about patience than actual skill. The "true" final boss, Hundred Eyes was okay, but still nowhere near the better Souls bosses. Overall, I have very mixed feelings about this game. I love the setting, and the basic gameplay is a lot of fun, but I can't help but feel like it's needlessly frustrating at certain arbitrary points, and way too easy in actually plot-important fights. Still not sure if getting the DLC is even worth it. It's certainly no Dark Souls or Bloodborne, that's for sure.
The DLCs introduced such a massive power creep that it makes the base game look like a walk in the park. The difficulty goes off the charts, affecting normal enemies and bosses alike, and the loot gets insanely better, so I'd say they're worth it.
@@PremierMilenkov agree with everything you said apart from mitsunari, I thought he was definitely one of the better bosses.
Bro why aren’t you using your soul cores
Because that's Nioh 1 and not 2. There were no Soul Cores in Nioh 1.
Still on the fence about whether I wanna get this or Yakuza 0.
Does this game have heavy replay-ability value after you've "beat" the game or no?
Unhappy Goldfish what? like ng+?
From what I've heard that's what contributed to replay-ability on DS.
Is there anything similar on Nioh? I'm just trying to find a reason to continue playing this game after the main scenario has been completed.
Unhappy Goldfish Yakuza 0 is amazing. Lots of content = great bang for your buck.
Yakuza 0 for certain is better as it has enough content to last for over half a year if you aim for 100% completion and a lot of funny and wtf moments that will make it worth every penny.
I own both and it really depends on what you want. Yakuza has a great story and funny side missions but its slower paced, for me. I bought Nioh just because Yakuza 0 has so many droughts of really good action, especially when you get caught up in side stuff. Both games are fantastic but Yakuza's for the person who likes slower games with more emphasis on side content, Nioh is faster but also a lot more dedication. I think both have about the same amount of gameplay time if you do everything.
Why does okatsu think that anjin is selfish, insensitive, cold hearted????
Bc she is footslut waifu along with yuki onna
@@katherinemendoza521 HAHAHAHA
Late comment, but she thinks of him as a typical samurai.
Though in that final scene, despite her view of him. She was really hurt that he left, especially when William didnt have any second thought staying.
William on the other hand, knew he has to do what he must. Okatsu doesnt know what William planned to do other than “going back home”, when really he went after the man who caused all the problems.
Because she was starting to fall in love with Anjin and was essentially heartbroken that Anjin only had feelings for Saoirse and left without so much as saying goodbye to her.
It's also not clear if Okatsu had william's child at this point or after he returned to Japan so that is kind of a big factor.
your damage absorption is ridiculous...
The bosses throughout the game were harder then this one. 🤔
It is a Ninja gaiden prequel???
More like a sequel, since ryuu’s grandchild exists here
Kelley said uroboros? so he use a virus from resident evil 5!!!!!!
uroboros is the infinite snake so old you don't know the source of the myth, not just virus
Uroboros is the snake of armageddon. Biting its own tail until the universe collapses
But i thought Japan's strongest yokai is Nine Tailed or Nurarihyon?
but none of those is powerful enough to force gods themselves cleaning them up.
I prefer a dragon and a phoenix.
The DLC has what you desire.
yamata no orochi is from shintoism, god like monster.
other is just yokai from folklore.i think orochi is more stronger, because orochi's opponent is god.

Troy Montana Well I know that lol. I'm just sorta showing my appreciation for this glorious person.
Who would win in a fight sekiro or William
William with sloth
Sekiro
Sekiro.
I know William has faced all sorts of demons and other creatures. But Sekiro has dealt with ridiculous amount of strong enemies. Even legends from the past who are known to be the strongest. He pretty much defeated them all, especially Isshin, who is the last strongest.
When you meet Isshin, he was a strong but old man. But when he became a Sword Saint, he’s more younger. Which allows him to fight at his best in his prime.
So after just saving everyone/the world and despite being your main bro for the whole game, hanzo basically tells you to fuck off or he'll kill you?? What a load of shite the story in this game is, genuinely could have thought of something better myself
The issue was japan was normally a county that sealed itself off from the from the world hitori hanzo though if he returned with William lord Tokugawa would have him killed that’s why he lied to him in the cutscene but lord Tokugawa didn’t care about that that’s why hanzo want shocked
Not the final boss fight.
Made it all the way to the end then the snake 1 shot me man what a bullshit boss this is im too low level but still couldve added a save point at least
This looks better than the Dark Souls series. faster like Ninja Gaiden.
AJTComicsBrand yeah but i think is easier. Look a the first phase of this fight, attacks are very slow and easy to avoid, and they didnt harm too much. Plus the lack of poise is more a hit-as-much-as-you-can than an evade and punish combat. I'll keep with souls and gaiden, they are better in each concept.
Ornstein The only reason dark souls is hard is because your character moves in slow motion.
can't help it when you are a zombie in full plate armor xD

And old zombie gods
Haha, I like how they teased the sequel xD, and even freaking Nobunaga is still alive. Surely Nioh is preparing to be a neat franchise along side the Souls franchise and Bloodborne.

I kind of doubt he would have been killed or threatened if he had those abilities in reality, and would likely move far faster. If the dragon was summoned, it would have likely made one quick snack out of anyone facing it too.
