    Also at 07:17 There is a "particle Switch" operator in the Event 003, that you did not mentioned in the tutorial, what does it do and what is its settings? Thanks!

    • @RedefineFX
      @RedefineFX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It just deactivates the particles that are attached to the sphere. It doesn’t have to be there actually since particle break just breaks the binds anyway, maybe that’s why I didn’t mention it. The settings are all default (deactivate).

    For those who don't have the Pro version, is there a turnaround for the Cuda collision? Love your tuts btw!

    • @RedefineFX
      @RedefineFX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nothing about this setup explicitly requires cuda cloth, so while I haven’t tested it, it should still work fine even with regular cloth. Might just have to lower the time step even more

    • @RedefineFX
      @RedefineFX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      …or just download the last available tyFlow Beta - it still has cuda cloth and this setup will work with it

  • @mgvfx
    @mgvfx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great Tutorial! However I'm running into a strange problem. For some reason the particles created in the cloth event aren't binding to the particles that are born in the other even and bound to the object surface. I'm using TyFlow Pro v1.006

    • @mgvfx
      @mgvfx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Figured it out. The "object bound" particles need to be born one frame earlier than the cloth particles.

    Hi again, im doing the tutorial now with CUDA but everytime I enable the particle bind 3dsmax crashes. I've comed the internet and can't find an answer, do you know why?
    my computer is a 8000 workstation so I know its not the PC.

    • @RedefineFX
      @RedefineFX  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah Max crashing could be a million things. If it crashes specifically when you enable cuda, it probably doesn’t like the GPU drivers or there’s some other conflict.

    There is something that I don't understand with your tutorials : how do you end up with these beautiful animations ? Do you use 3ds max and v-ray to do it or do you export your file into another animation software ? I'm kinda new to 3ds max, that is why I would like to know

    • @RedefineFX
      @RedefineFX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I use Vray to render out the animations inside Max. No other software needed. You can actually just use Arnold, which comes included with Max. I have a bunch of introductory Vray tuts on my channel, and also a course called product animation Masterclass which covers this in detail.
