I could not stop licking my whisk. It was the perfect amount of cream cheese, sugar, and chocolate. The texture was light but not too soft. It was definitely the highlight of my tuxedo cheesecake.
Since so many people are talking about watching the video and not making the cake - I made it 3 times and will do it a 4th time this weekend. It's so easy and absolutely delicious, one of my forever favorite recipes ❤

I've just finished making this. Whilst making the cheesecake filling, it became so thick that I could barely mix it so I ended up having to add another 240ml of double cream (without whipping it up) and it was still too thick. I almost gave up and added a few splashes of milk whilst loosened it up a bit but still not like how it appears in the video. I also had to add more sugar to balance the taste out. It seems very dense but will keep you updated on how it turns out!
@@lusumachi1181 honestly for my first attempt, it was pretty good. I would recommend making more of the base but that depends on your personal preference. The middle section didn't have an overwhelming cream cheese flavour (which I prefer) but that could have been because of how much extra cream I had to add.
I just tried out this recipe (i halved it) and it turned out absolutely amazing!! I decorated it with some fresh berries that complimented it perfectly. Definitely recommend!!
I prepared it yesterday but with only half of all the quantities indicated in the video. This was for a test and I had a spectacular cheese cake, not too sweet and with an exquisite chocolate flavor. in contrast to previous commentators I DID just make this cake :D it's really really good. thanks for sharing. a few comments though: - it's way too much for a 20cm pan, I could only fit 2/3 of the crust and filling (froze down leftovers, will make nice icecream :]) and made 1/2 of the ganache - I tried to keep it low in sugar so used sugar-reduced biscuits (in germany - leibniz butterkekse 30% weniger zucker, mixed with cocoa powder), chocolate with 85% cocoa (14g sugar/100g) and no powdered sugar. the result is a very chocolatey, moussy cake. - I took it out of the fridge 2h before serving so it wouldn't be too stiff, the ganache got quite hard and I didn't want it to break when cutting (probably wouldn't be an issue when using milk chocolate for the ganache as suggested). tasty tasty :]
Looks yummy! 😋 A knife, metal spatula, baker's scraper, or some other utensil, warmed under a hot tap, (dried) then applied flatly to the plastic, whilst unwrapping, will make the cheesecake release more smoothly and leave a nice sheen.
@@samiam4185 I think it's okay if you use any size of springform pan just make sure this recipe will fit in it, I used a bigger one but it was fine, and I got 8 slices.
this was the first time me and my brother was making ANY type of cake and the result was sooooo goood so you can guess it very easy to make few tip you can use fresh cream instead of heavy cream (cause its not easily available in india) you can skip vanila extract i made it without butter paper/baking parer or even aluminium foil you can eat the cake in mould itself

I loved seeing you use heavy cream, I personally love it and am surprised to see that not many cheesecake recipes use it that I've seen. I love making no bake cheesecake, but I'll just modify a few ingredients to make it keto friendly.
@@vonhipple4469 basically you just use stevia or monk fruit to sweeten the mix of cream cheese (wich is usually low in carbs), sour cream, and heavy cream. If i'm just going for a classic cheese cake i add vanilla extract and a key lime for flavoring. If i want to make it chocolate flavored i use coco or cacao powder(as long as its low carb and has as few ingredients as possible) and heat it up with butter (add a little more heavy cream or milk and stevia if you're not used to the bitter taste) And for a crust I mash my choice of pecans, walnuts or brazilina nuts and mix them with almond butter to make this sorta cruchy buttery crust.

@@don14339 I use just a little bit of sweet condensed milk bc I didn't have heavy cream and it turned out perfect! Tbh I don't think you need heavy cream unless you are maybe making a cheesecake that you bake
I made this today,,6-12-23. Followed the recipe but, yes there is always a BUT. I did add a package of sweet mini chocolate chips in the batter, with a cheerie sauce on the side. Grins. Thanks for your recipe.
