To me the most impressive number was his 10' broad jump. The explosive power and balance require to explode and land as cleanly as he did with his frame... Jesus. Prototypical NFL Tackle size, with measurables that stack up with 3-4 OLB 4 pounds lighter, 3 inches shorter at best. Watt is a freak in every sense of the word, but a better person. Humble, down to earth, extremely hard working, dominant and inspiring. Greatness personified.

JJ is the best Defensive player in the NFL period, nobody comes close to him right now, Houston from the Chiefs and Greg Hardy from the Panthers are close but JJWatt is so good it is amazing. Jacksonville could have got him but Gene Smith was just being Gene Smith a complete dumbass and that is why he is gone now. JJ will always be a Texan there is no way they let that man go. These numbers are incredible for a young man his size but not enough in many "experts" eyes. The combines measure all the measurable tangible aspects some "experts" say they are suppose to have but leave out all the intangibles that a coach loves to see (i.e. work ethic, dedication, pride, heart, intelligence, attitude towards critique and willingness to learn). I use these videos for my "kids" and many others to show that there is no substitute for hard work no matter the "talent' level. I can assure you that JJ ( along with many others) would beat all of their combine times now that they realize what it takes to be a great player in this league. You can attribute that to only this reason...HARD WORK AND DEDICATION

What's crazy about these nfl combines is high school kids will compare their numbers to pros and think they're comparable. But in high school, most of the time, they hand time athletes in the 40 and vertical is measured with a mat (easily manipulated). So, if JJ Watt was measured this way, he'd probably run a 4.4 and have a 47 inch vert lol.
