The allision happened at 2:20pm 10km away from Sentosa. The oil reached Sentosa beaches at 7am the next day. That's about 17 hours! During those 17 hours, the authorities did nothing to contain the oil??? And they allowed the oil to drift with the tide to pollute the beaches??? That is irresponsibilty and negligence by the second largest port in the world.

i will take it as an army exercise to fend-off beach-landing by small boats. slicks to be cleaned up and use for bitumen landfills, roads, chimney cleaning diesel producing, fumes sending, vapour booming, algae growing...
get the SCDF to take-over as overall leader and coordinate hazmat, medical, army-manpower, police public-relations, security perimeter
