I can do a "Mag Kick" just fine, I just use ruger 20 round mags and they seem to be the best at that type of mag change. But really if you think about it, say if you do get in a gun fight and do have to change mags, it would be done behind cover, and wouldn't matter how fast you change mags. The problem is that everyone trains as if they are in a gun tournament, and dont practice firing a gun behind cover like you would be in real life, and developing really bad habits when it come to self defense. just sayin.
Most things I do agree with you completely we do practice in different configurations on the ground above the ground firing off targets and everything else off roofs that's what I do like about the three gun shooting premise it is more of a realistic scenario versus like a pistol shoot or anything like that so you do get to do this and lots of different configurations saying that if you will look up the Miami-Dade shoot a lot of people were shot well behind cover trying to reload their guns not exactly the same thing but I always think reloads are never a thing you can do too fast as long as you're doing them properly practice makes perfect I definitely agree that you should do any reload you are doing the same way you would do it if you were fighting and this is the same way I would do it if I was in a gunfight I don't care about magazines dropped on the ground I can pick them up after the fight and the faster I get the gun back into the fight the better off I am but as I say I agree completely with most of what you said thank you for the comment I really do appreciate it
I am definitely had a very little jams in general with any of my ruler mini-14s but I've definitely had good luck with the tapco magazines the way they load as long as you load the last round so it is on the left hand side I have a very good luck loading them with a closed bolt open bolt doesn't really matter they seem to run very very well that's the only thing I've ever noticed is making sure that they are put the last round on the left hand side
What magazine are those? What mags, besides factory, would you recommend? I should have waited until the video was over to ask. Tapco. Tapco Mini-14 mags have been discontinued apparently. Do you recommend any others?
I do not I only recommend these and the factories sometimes you can find them as old stock I would definitely call around and see if anybody's got them sitting around but they are a little hard to find right now

Hey bud ...I'm not a gun guy, but I need some info. The world's sooo screwed....SOOOO, If I need a pistol and a rifle, say a 9mm. Can I use the exact same ammo and magazines for both?
You aren't ready to operate a firearm safely if this question is on the table. This isn't meant to be disrespectful, it's like letting a new driver know that they need to know about manual vs automatic transmissions before they attempt driving. Rifles and pistols are very different but there are nuances in ammunition. Your use case will determine which you pursue, and if that isn't defined then more research is needed first.

I have had more jams with ruger magazines than tapco magazines . I prefer the tapco mags .
