2020 08 25 My Quartet

When covid closed down lessons, I made myself a project to try a quartet all by myself. Rented a cello to do the bass line. The parts for violin 1, violin 2 and viola were all played on the viola. For violin 1 I had to attempt playing in 3rd position. Violin 2 I was able to get by in 1st position. Both required learning the treble clef on viola. The toughest part was trying to sync them together on freebie software. With them not lined up too well plus my awkwardness on doing new things on the viola, it turned out pretty stark but no regrets for trying something new.
