I rented a room while going to the uni, the landlord lived in one room and rented out the other two. Every now and then I travelled home for weekends and recess. Once coming back early in the morning I found the room door unlocked and a random guy sleeping in the bed, on my pillow. The landlord had a spare key and apparently let other people stay in my room for extra cash when he thought I wasn't around. And I kept all my stuff in that room... Having kicked the random guy out and told the landlord what a POS he was, his only complaint to me was that I had come back "too early". I started to look for another place. Then a resident from the building approached me and told me to be careful with this man and that the girls in the other room had left running upon their privacy being violated in a despicable way. I could only imagine what that meant, but it reminded me of the time he had "accidentally" walked in while me and my gf were having a good time so I got the picture. I was out of there, that guy was a creep.
Being Scared is my usual go-to for falling asleep. But he doesn't post very often and I find myself hearing the same stories repeatedly, even if I scroll and pick and a random video from anywhere within the last 3 years. It seems like I've heard every story more than once.

That last story resounded with me, I was jogging once and then decided to take a break on the sidewalk, I closed my eyes and this old man who appeared to be homeless, came to me, slowly. I pretended I didn't notice him, and when he was at a 5 feet distance, I stood up and faced him, asked him what he was trying to do, and he got mad and said, he just wanted to pass by me. He clearly wanted to jump me. I walked away and left him talking alone. This happened in Peru.

There was one time when I was a middle schooler (in the US, that would be 12-13 years old), and my mom and I went to the movies on a cloudy Saturday afternoon. We had just settled into our theater seats, when my mom wanted to go get some extra snacks. We both felt that I was old enough to chill by myself, so she went to the lobby to get her fix. So she left the theater, and it was then when I saw this older (to me) dude looking back at me. He did that a lot, and his expression was a combination of lust and anger.

I made it prominent that he needs to knock first (especially considering I paying for a two night stay), but instead he just straight up used the key. It scared me, I was in a towel straight out the shower twice. I get being able to use the key, but my stay was paid for and I already said to KNOCK.

His hours were quite late and more often than not I would catch a train into the city to meet him after work and we'd go for drinks. So we were always sleeping in late. One day our landlord who didn't know our hours, broke into our flat. Luckily we were awake, my husband gets up to investigate. He later told me he found the landlord snooping in our lounge room. My husband must have given him the fright of his life. My husband when mad looks kinda scary, so picture a big hairy man in his underwear with a nasty, 'you just got me out of bed' scowl on coming at you😂 we never did see the landlord come to our flat again😂😂😂

Very short story that coulda been a horror: My girlfriend and i were walking down a residential street one night. A car came speeding recklessly down the street. We both yelled “slow down” and the car came to a literal screeching halt. Uh oh. Suddenly a car came around the corner and then flipped on the blue lights that lit the area up and stopped behind the obnoxious car. My heart was retrieved out of my throat and the cop wanted nothing from us so we continued on.
