I was in a coma for 16 days because of septic pneumonia and I remember my dreams (I don’t know what else to call it) vividly. It was intense and so real that when they woke me up again I was convinced the other coma reality was real and when I came out of the fog completely I mourned that place I was and the people I loved there. It’s weird and hard to explain
I was ten years unemployed due to anxiety/panic disorder. Now I run my own business and I'm able to take care of my mam financially that makes me feel so happy. Life changes even after years of things not going our way for whatever reason 🙏🏽
When something traumatizing happens to you where your life is in danger, you have a sense of awareness that never quite goes away. You just go through therapy and recognize your triggers. It gets better, easier, but 20 years later, and that awareness hasn't gone away.🌹🌹🌹

Story 3: As someone who was sedated for an extended period of time with an intubation tube back in April this year.. it isn’t fun. I had dreams, lots and lots of dreams that seemed like memories and nightmares. I had dreams of my cats running away and then dreams of me being surrounded by people in the middle of the street, closing in on me. I was scared and confused the entire time. It’s not fun and no joke.
I was 6 years old and with a neighbor boy on our way to school and was almost abducted by a man and woman in a car at the end of our own driveway. Those traumas are burned in my memory forever and affects everything in your life. I could sit down with a police sketch artist today and describe the entire event. 😢
I was living in Oslo when the bombing happened in the first story. I heard it from miles away and, at the time, thought it was a firework or something, which was strange because it was daytime. Then I saw what really happened reported on TV.
My dad recently was in the hospital and had to use a ventilator. It was a scary sight, and looking up the process of putting it in and taking it out- it’s a serious procedure. It basically goes through the vocal cords

Having done mortuary transport in rural areas it’s always the fear of the gps taking you to the wrong house in the middle of the night. It certainly led to some interesting conversations in the middle of the woods in the wee hours of the morning.

A person's dad I'm occasionally talking to basically ripped out his tube, too, and the famaha was too severe. He died a while after. It truly is terrifying because we have no idea if people in medically (chemically) induced comas feel pain and whatnot. It seems that they can hear us, kind of, but still. That's where the real horror lies.
That was the most alarming burp of my life….I was totally immersed in the story while at work and it almost caused me to spit out my coffee in laughter 😅. Thanks for leaving that in ❤.
