Hand Sharpening a Hoof Knife

Sharpening a hoof knife by hand. This skill can be mastered by anyone that wants to take the time to learn it. The first part is a complete sharpening of a blade that is in bad shape, and the second part is general maintenance in the field.

Where would one find the buffing compound? I am in Canada and see it in powder form for polishing rocks, but not like the chunk you have there.
