I live in Tucson six months and Panama City Beach six months. Best of both worlds!

That’s different! Most of our snowbirds go north for the summer. Nice to spend summers at the beach. Thanks for sharing

From California been in Arizona 4years its Time to leave. Summer's are getting hotter and longer. Not kid friendly nothing here to do in the summer time when the kids are off for summer break. Really no diversity unless you wanna live in the hood. All the outskirts are mainly white neighborhoods. It's just depressing 😢 Moving to Jax this summer although I'm scared of the hurricanes. I just need to revive life back into my family ❤

Sorry you're having a struggle living here! As someone who also has kiddos - I couldn't disagree with you more with your comment about nothing to do here for kids in the summer... You have to intentionally avoid finding things for kids to do to make that statement... The heat of course is real... most locals use summer break as an excuse to go camping in the mountains, visit family/friends on the coast or take a road trip north when possible. Summer heat is the equivalent of 2-3 months of winter cold in Minnesota/Chicago... you stay indoors a lot (except for the pool!). Arizona is still remarkably affordable compared to what you'll find in almost all areas of California. Based on US Census data, about 53% of the county is White, 32% latino, 7% Black or African American and the rest of the people here a mix of other backgrounds. As real estate brokers, we can absolutely help you sell your home here and find you a reputable and experienced agent in your new city! Give us a call 480-470-1707. AZ isn't for everyone. People do leave - but for the past 50 years WAY more people move in every year than out.

There are videos about that on here. Apparently 55+ communities are full of busy-bodies and high-school cliques.

    Florida is the Sunshine State.
Arizona is the Burning in Hell State.
