Have my secondary apart right now doing this job, I have the keeper pins out but I can’t break the second set of pins, have them soaking in super penetrating right now hoping that works
I used a Allan key as a punch … if u use a small Allan key and u might have to grind a bit off the short end the bend in the Allan key should fit in there and then hit the long end of Allan key with hammer it should punch it out
@@BurninGas8.1that’s what I ended up doing, I grinded the small end shorter used heat, and I had to put washers behind the allan key as I was going they were bastards, took me 11 hrs to do the job
I had to pound on the things too, I tried the vice grips once getting them so far but they wouldn’t budge that’s why I used the washers to get the extra length on the Allan key
I’m getting ready to take my bolts out of the backside of my secondary clutch and I’m wondering once I heat the Loctite up for about a minute will those bolts loosen up and come out pretty easily or do I need to hit them with the impact?
Do you recommend me to buy a GMC HD 6.6 gasoline 2020 like your i live in hot weather state like 110 degree weather in summer. Is the A/C cold on this truck?
Also when I use my clutch pulling tool to remove my primary clutch because I need to replace it how much hell do I need to give that thing before that clutch will pop off and how do I know what is too much before I strip it?? Just feel?
i lost my screws to put the clutch back together what are they called?
