This just shows that Cora was very manipulative in tricking the trickster himself, Rumple, and even blinding him because he couldn't even foreseen her betrayal. No wonder he believes love is weakness, he was weakened very badly.

If she had said that Rumple would never have made the deal with her. Cora is smart enough to know that.

The casting for ouat was so good
In some cases way better than the writing. Sometimes you don't even notice when the dialogue isn't the best because the delivery is so good.

Wow Rose McGowan really nailed this indefinitely I have seen her on Charmed but that is a walk in the park compared to this
You gotta wonder whether or not, at this stage in the show, the writers had planned for Zelena to be Cora's abandoned first-born. Did they know that Cora's OFFICIAL first-born child was already growing up in Oz, or was that written in later? You need to remember that the Zelena story premiered one year after the release of "Oz: The Great and Powerful" and was probably an attempt to keep the brand integration going with Disney.

What they could have done was have Cora give birth to Zelena but it turns out she was Rumple‘s child not Henry’s so he took her and then Cora and Henry had Regina. Not sure how she would end up in Oz though.

Cora accepts finally the union of daniel and régina and she them give a gift, she sends them in our world (like baelfire at episode 1x19) and a minute more later, she turns into régina (with its powers) and takes his place and is married with the father of snow and spread a rumor than daniel is suicide because of snow, and when emma ward off the curse, cora decides of is suicide and of leave video messages
