"I've put off cleaning because of those monsters there." I burst out laughing at that because it's true! I now have a lightweight vacuum stick and I do not miss my old bruiser vacuum. My $25 cellphone is 13 years old. My brother sends it a birthday card every year 🤪😄. Anyway, I'm glad you have something lightweight to work with now. It'll make all the difference. Thank you for the smiles today, Ilona!
Now steady in Gal, getting to like housework is a bit extreme don’t you think? I am sure the novelty will soon wear off. I have had Goldman’s stuff and it is quite good.
Ilona, I had my big yellow Dyson DC04 for over 20 years. In the end, I couldn't manage lugging it up the stairs any more, so I switched to a cordless GTech Air Ram which I can lift easily with one hand. It did cost me money, and quite a lot, really, although I didn't pay full price for it (hurray!). And I have one similar to yours, handheld, which I bought because I couldn't vacuum the stairs using the Dyson. I love it! I do a lot more housework now I have better tools to do it with - it's less physically demanding too. My heart sank when I saw that big old yellow Dyson of yours. It reminded me how I didn't want to hoover EVER because it was such a clunky old beast. It's a different world now, I couldn't be happier to chuck the hoover round for 5 minutes and get it all done quickly.
I have never spent loads on things my secondhand fridge I have is 8 years old 100 pounds I had another fridge from 1980 til 207 that was a fab fridge got it from a catologe same with washing machine had that for 12 years. Great video
🙋Was so lovely see an hear you on as always☺🐦🍃🌌yes i don't like dusting or vacuuming ,good ideal give the old ones to guy that dose the vacuum cleaners ,and good you got a light one,yes look forward to hearing how it worked out.ty for sharing 😻👐🎑
I don't enjoy housework either Ilona! I do it when I have to or when its really needed. And I do my laundry once a week. I also have a dishwasher which I use every 2 days. My fridge is 15 years old and still going strong. I don't buy anything unless I have to lol! 😳 😉
I know exactly what you mean, I don’t like bulky heavy upright hoovers . I am a self employed cleaner and use Hetty, the female wife to Henry 😁, I find her not so big but she does get heavy when the bag gets even half full and she gets stuck around corners 🤣 Well done on your purchase dear friend 😘xxx
I had a Dyson - so heavy to lug upstairs - got a cordless - love it - donated the Dyson to the Church I was attending - they needed one so were pleased.
I owned a cleaning company years ago, and the vaccum used makes or breaks the feeling about house cleaning jobs. Each house had a different type of vaccum, that’s how I know about different types. Cordless are great and the robot ones are great too. Enjoy your new vaccum. ❤️
Hi Ilona, I've had dysons practically all my adult life but god they are heavy. Last year my arthritis got even worse so I got a gtech that you charge up. That was quite expensive but so much lighter. Not the super power of the stand up dyson but I don't care anymore, I'm fragile 😀😄😃 xxx
My daughter bought me a Goodman kettle and toaster 2 years ago and they are both going well and performing just as well as expensive ones I have had in the past. My present vacuum is a Sebo which is super efficient but like you, I put off cleaning for much longer than I should because it is so heavy. I will have a look at the one you have bought. Lovely bit of Axminster carpet, you don't see quality stuff like that much nowadays !
Good bargain hunting! Looks like a good little vacuum. My place is so tiny I use a car hoover - which is great but sore on the back after a while, so I have to get down on my hands and knees, ha! When I saw this video, I honestly thought from the title, that you had gone and bought one of those robotic vacuums that roll around on their own, bumping off chair legs etc! 🤣
Good for you! At the moment have a small shop vac but plan on a stick vacuum at some point. Have to find the right one. Old vacuums sure were incredibly heavy!
I’ve have had my vax bagless hoover since 2016. Only problem I’ve had with mine was, I let a housemate use it. When I got it back it had little bit water in it with a nut and bolt. I had to replace the metal pipe as it rusted a lot. And the next day after I use it and found the filter was damp so I had clean it. I was not impressed with the housemate.
I have always had the Hoover brand. I got rid of my corded hoover as it was heavy. I now have a cordless Hoover. It's brilliant. So light, easy to charge, run time is 45 min, easy to empty. Love mine.
Hi llona! Love watching your videos they always make me happy! You truly are an inspiration to me! I've been watching your videos for many years now and you feel like family to me, you are like a cosey fireplace surrounded by good friends xx before I waffle on... I noticed you said b&m , b&m is one of my favourite shops and I have managed to get some amazing bargains from there! Your hoover is a fantastic idea! I think I'll have to treat myself to one as my Henry hoover is a bugger to hoover with especially with my disability so thank you for sharing! You have once again inspired me with another fantastic idea xx
Hi Ilona . Long ago I decided we’d have 2 vacuum cleaners , one upstairs and one downstairs . Much easier for a quick 3 min clean , much easier for the kids to have one next to the bedrooms . Nowadays I live in a flat and I bought a 50 € ( 50 £ ? ) from Lidl . Not sensible to buy an expensive one at my age, no need for one which will survive me ...right ?
Keeping up the house isn't my thing either I don't really like it. But it's also very hard on my body with my disabilities. And I can definitely tell you with heavy machinery it is really hard to do so I'm sure you're going to like the lighter weight and mobility of the cordless vacuum.
I’m not a fan of housework either. I’m very fortunate that my dog doesn’t really shed hair(or at least very little) so that means it’s not necessary to use the vacuum quite so often. I too have a heavy older model passed on to me from my mother. I HATE using it! I’m sure the day will come when a choose to buy something similar to your cordless model.
Happy new year ilona ..arrrhh that's a good price .I.knoe what you mean about the heaviness of some of these hoovers light weight just makes the job easier x
Good on you, I'm not a housework fan either, but I like the ease of use of my cordless stick vacuum to do my living areas. It was pretty cheap and is not the most powerful but it does the job. I have a cheap robo vac for the bedrooms.
O yes it will make a world of difference. I hate it when I use the hose part and the big ol vacuum falls over because the hose part is to short or not flexible enough.
That grey and yellow Dyson is extremely heavy and cumbersome. We had one of the first Dysons it may have been that one , so I know. I've got a Vax rechargeable stick vacuum at the moment, much easier.
I made the mistake with a vax. Could not afford the Dyson. Now we have a shark. Which I'm happy with. I'm always on the look out on marketplace for a Henry. I miss that one!
Looks good and bm things are usually grand Ilona. I think it will take more than a vacuum cleaner to make me enjoy housework, I hate it and my mobility issues make it really hard. I do need a new cleaner though and getting something cordless would be more sensible than the one I currently have. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy New year.
I got rid of my stick vacuum (my husband wanted it not me!) I was always frustrated as the battery never held enough charge to vacuum th whole house, I used to have to charge it again and wait. The battery also wore out just after 12 months and was expensive to replace. 2 batteries later I have replace it with one with a cord!!!
I can relate completely, the upstairs doesn't get hoovered as much as down stairs here, because i don't like lugging the hoover up and down the stairs. I even thought about buying a second upstairs hoover!
I’ve never tried dysons just went from Henry n hettys to this cordless stick since retiring as lighter n easier, used to hate even thinking bout vacuuming now it don’t feel like hard work lol
I,ve never used a vavuum cleaner in my whole life as l live in Spain. The carpet all over the house was the first shocking culture l experienced when l visited England for the first time upps¡¡¡😅
Hi Illona, I live in North Wiltshire, so am close to his manufacturing centre. I do not like Dyson, they are too heavy! Give me Henry every time. He is also not kind to his workers, so I have always boycotted him!!!?

My husband insisted on a Henry, which really is a beast of industrial proportions, so …. He does ALL the hoovering now !!!!
There good, but very heavy. Did my back in, so I got rid of it.

I should have got rid of the Dysons ages ago.
Hubby. Bought a second hand he ry 15years back its still going strong an super for the car or cleaning up building jobs!
Yes they are heavy. I well remember the trusty ewbanks 😃😃but not as good as your new vachsppy hoovering ilona hope it works for you
That was luvly Ilona. As we r getting older we need easy t use gadgets. Really interested n this. Thank you
I have never spent loads on things my secondhand fridge I have is 8 years old 100 pounds I had another fridge from 1980 til 207 that was a fab fridge got it from a catologe same with washing machine had that for 12 years. Great video

I’ve still got my Cheap lawn mower I bought ten years ago ! Fabulous that vac 😊
I don't enjoy housework either Ilona! I do it when I have to or when its really needed. And I do my laundry once a week. I also have a dishwasher which I use every 2 days. My fridge is 15 years old and still going strong.
I don't buy anything unless I have to lol! 😳 😉
Totally relate to what your saying Ilona, if it's too difficult you just don't
bother with it. I find cordless easier.
I know exactly what you mean, I don’t like bulky heavy upright hoovers . Wow🎉 can’t wait to hear the review! I used to have a Dustbuster for small messes. Used it till I wore it out
I did the same and I have to say. It's working as good as my old Dyson. Greetings from North bay ontario.
Excellent IIona! Bet there’s a great difference on your arms and a great bargain! 🙌
Love the new hoover Ilona fantastic!

I have a Sebo too. Awesome for dog hair etc, but so cumbersome that I just hate vacuuming. I'm looking at getting a rechargeable stick vacuum soon.
Good bargain hunting! Looks like a good little vacuum. My place is so tiny I use a car hoover - which is great but sore on the back after a while, so I have to get down on my hands and knees, ha! I have two of them both found outside work great ,also see lots free hoover on freecycle ,have had lots of various freebies
I love my Shark corded hoover , best I have had so far 🤗
Good for you!
At the moment have a small shop vac but plan on a stick vacuum at some point. Have to find the right one. Old vacuums sure were incredibly heavy!
I felt the same when I got a stick vacuum, much better aren't they. I've heard of the make Goodmans before. Good price as well!

Looks like a nice little cordless vacuum
Happy new year missed your shows. ❤from Australia

I love my cordless vac, but it doesn’t do a great job on carpet. I still use the Dyson for carpets. Cordless is great for hard floors
I have a G Tech Air Ram, very light to use.
The G Tech is the best one I have ever had the battery lasts for a long time. 🙂

I have a similar hoover to your new one not the same make, been using it for two years much better than the big models,
Good on you, I'm not a housework fan either, but I like the ease of use of my cordless stick vacuum to do my living areas. It was pretty cheap and is not the most powerful but it does the job. I have a cheap robo vac for the bedrooms.
When we have cats we must vaccume or our clothes are full of hair 😂
O yes it will make a world of difference. I hate it when I use the hose part and the big ol vacuum falls over because the hose part is to short or not flexible enough.
Yes that was a nuisance with the yellow upright. Give it a tug and it bashes you on the leg as it falls over.
That grey and yellow Dyson is extremely heavy and cumbersome. We had one of the first Dysons it may have been that one , so I know. I've got a Vax rechargeable stick vacuum at the moment, much easier.

@@AlexAstrid I love my Vax stick, it's excellent.
@@AlexAstrid I sent a lift off Shark back because it weighed a ton and I sent Henry back it wouldn't glide on the carpet.

I kept the purple one upstairs, but I also used it for the stairs, which meant balancing it on each step as I went up and down. What a pain.
Greetings from horsey lady Karen! :)
Hello, you found me. Welcome to my online world. 😆 ilona
I’ve done the same they are heavy machines mother.xxx🐝🐝🐝
Since getting a cordless shark stick Vacuum it’s so much quicker n easier and doesn’t feel like a chore anymore
Another fan of the Shark. I wouldn’t consider anything apart from a Dyson for years and had multiple failures. So happy I changed to Shark.
My neighbour recommended Shark, but I didn't like the price.
I’ve never tried dysons just went from Henry n hettys to this cordless stick since retiring as lighter n easier, used to hate even thinking bout vacuuming now it don’t feel like hard work lol
Ps love the hair colour you look fabulous 🎉
Iiona the old vacuums are quality telus were a great brand
Hope you like it illona 👍🏻
Quality is important over quantity
Sadly the new cordless won’t last like the Dysons, I reckon a few years. Sadly few cordless vacuums made to last
👍👍👍
I,ve never used a vavuum cleaner in my whole life as l live in Spain. The carpet all over the house was the first shocking culture l experienced when l visited England for the first time upps¡¡¡😅
Life is too short to iron pyjamas.....
We got carpets taken out of our home don't need a vacuum cleaner
Hi Illona, I live in North Wiltshire, so am close to his manufacturing centre. I do not like Dyson, they are too heavy! Give me Henry every time. He is also not kind to his workers, so I have always boycotted him!!!?
Mother can see you thank u for comfort you bring me a single lady 54
